  1. looks like he could start i cant see any other left backs in that squad will hanlon play there or shinnie?
  2. williams so far has been solid. against rangers we played 2 very young full backs and were punished for it the full backs were beaten easily leaving the centre backs no cover from the wings allowing rangers to put balls in our box at will. imo it wasnt the centre backs fault we conceded 4 it was the full backs there was no one cutting the supply. on the golobart matter. well im presuming you were either at aberdeen, or dundee utd away? because after that he got dropped for 3-4 weeks and returned to the team against st mirren and rangers and was outstanding. he marked thompson out the game against st mirren with 1 mistake from a set piece and then against rangers he marked jelavic out the game. owain from what ive seen is a quality player and when you mention duds what do you mean? duff? you mean the the centre midfeilder that played at right back all season when we had no one else and done the job fairly well? hardly dross dani sanchez was definatly a good player just coming into his own scoring goals setting them up he was very similar to andy shinnie and then he got injured and was out for the rest of the season. and is now tearing up the a-league in australia. again hardly dross. i could go through all them and make a point for all of them (except stratford) but when it comes down to it terry has made more excellent signings for us like hayes, foran, cox, and andy shinnie than he has duds hes doing a great job imo

  4. That was about two years ago! About the same time Duncan was playing every week and Butcher was going on about what a great captain Munro was! unless tokely has slept with butchers wife or something then why would they have gone from offering tokely a new contract to despising him? to think that butcher would get rid of players because of personal agenda or because he didnt like them is ludicrous.
  5. on the 2nd of june 1984 sergei baltacha played at the old wembley for the soviet union 11 years before i was born anyone impressed? cmon?
  6. mckay esson ross best of a bad bunch today
  7. butcher:''oryt ally'' ally:''oryt terry'' butcher:''you know what ive not seen you in months but im not gonna give you a warm welcome cause it might offend 'dougal'" ally: "who?" butcher walks off to his perch in the main stand **** sake get a grip
  8. so its established what our worst defeat at tcs in the spl is now best win? i remember a few 3-0's but 6-1 against gretna is it? or does it not count cause their dead? when rangers die will today count?
  9. Butcher's wanted rid of Tokely for over a year I believe. Had it not been for the funny contractual agreement added in Tokely's contract (he was guaranteed another year if he played over X amount of games - 15 I think it was), he would've followed Munro and Duncan out the door. This season will be his last, I'm 99% sure of that. I think what we've got to remember here, is that Terry Butcher has an ego the size of Wembley Stadium and at times some of his team selections and decisions seem to be nothing more than to massage it - anyone who disagrees is out the door no matter how good they are. who gave him that clause on his contract? butcher did. if he wanted rid of him he wouldnt of gave him that in the first place. people make to much of rumours before tokely got injured he played virtually every game, now hes just coming back from injury he hasnt been able to establish himself in the side. its not down to butcher its down to tokely, he needs to put in the performances to earn a place in the team just like everyone else does. when tokely was out we had our the best defensive run of the season. thats why tokelys not playing right now.

  11. and again we play the old firm and everyones saying 'aw we are ****'! anything we get from the old firm is a bonus administration or not. i thought we started the game quite brightly getting the ball to johny and tade getting balls in the box. then in typical old firm fashion they scored with their first and second attempts on goal after that we seemed to lose confidence. tade didnt seem to want to take perry on and hayes never seemed to get the ball billy mckay stood out for me ran the channels better than i ever seen him do and put in a shift after that its time to regroup prepare for next monday and give dundee utd a thrashing!

  15. im to young to remember the merger im probably 1 of very few on here actually younger than the club itself, but the way i see it is that the people that are hung up on the merger stuff must be the sort of person that cant move on, and must be very shallow. especially when you see the sucess thats came from the merger.

  18. foran - mr consistent ross - goalscorer OTJ - game changer ref - poor
  19. felt sorry for gnakpa he had no service. owain 'tom brady' tudor 'the big show' jones is most definatly our 'quater back' key in earning a point today. strong in a tackle and good on the ball definatly an international footballer from what ive seen so far. foran and mckay up front looks like they could be sucessful up top if they get a chance they seemed to know where each other were and didnt get in each others way like the unsucessful foran and tade partnership at the start of the season. the team that ended todays game should start next week. with certain exceptions *cough* proctor *cough*
  20. somes up rangers somes up their money :abduction:
  21. sign them all!!! (except lafferty) im sure theres some youngsters we could get. hutton and perry would do a job im sure. we got possibly our best ever keeper from a team in administration lets get some more great players.
  22. good way to end his career imo after a sucessful career.
  23. http://www.highland-news.co.uk/Sport/Football/Inverness-Caley-Thistle/Carnage-Tel-stunned-by-Rangers-crisis-7618903.htm nice wee post from terry on the matter past experience and he puts a sly wee mention about our financial position and how we are in a good place financially. well done tel
  24. ok read through it and a big mybad on my part in which case i would put it in the north wing close to the north stand to translate some atmosphere from the standing area to the north stand and hopefully get the mainstand going aswell it could create a fortress with everyone joining in. that would be my prime location of the suitable places to put it. funding wise is the only question i have is wether people would be willing to pay an extra £100 for their ticket. there would have to be some perks offered. like money off the actual season ticket or a free name on their seat(or whatever their area would be called) that would be something that would be up to the club.
  25. i dont know the ins and outs of it but if the club were to trial it i would like them to trial it in section 'E' and if it works we could the look into a safe standing west stand. something along those lines. offer cheaper tickets in section 'E' as a trial to try attract some interest and fill the section and hopefully create some atmosphere at the same time.
