  1. when i took young Cairn to his first Caley game, the look on his face when i bought him his Caley scarf (1ST division one) he still wears it, it was an a way game as well :014:
  2. :025: well done Caley young cairn and his mate went up to day with a full paying adult who had never bee to a Caley game, now i know young cairn is a real fan he complained to me about the ref , i couldnt make the game
  3. mite be there but dont want to give them my money, will depend on Young Cairn ( i feel stupid) would cost same anyway with travell he wont want anything out off shop though
  4. CaleyD=== this generation of young fans dont care if it was two clubs joined to gether , as far as they are concerned it is Caley they want to support i agree with some of your point but to reap the benifits in the future you have to invest now, people at the top of the club should just have the south stand for away fans and that is it. If you can get a core of 3-4 thousand in the next five years that is a good result, remember the City of Inverness and the surrounding area is growing these fans will come to the ground, a lot of non OF fans are coming to the Highlands and they will want to see a game of football, support a team, this is the people you want to catch and their children. What i would love to see is the day when their will be no tickets available for away fans because they have all been taken up by Caley fans
  5. is that for the main stand or the bridge end? will the huns be kept out of the bridge end? £23 X2=46+ £12=£58+ pies and bovrils+ what son wants out of shop (hope new strip aint in LOL) + petrol money no change from another £100 to have the privilage to sit with away fans in the Bridge end, will still be there though
  6. CALEY D , i decided not to go and i gave my reasons, there should have been cheaper seats for the kids and "them" could have not got tickets, i understand the club needs money as every club does, but do we want the Bridge end full of Caley fans or does the club want the money. Now is the time for the club to stand up and be counted , a fan base for the future even if the club drop a division , or a quck profit. 7000 fans 4 times a year or a core of 3 to 4 thousand fans for every home game. It already annoys me that prices for OF games rise by £2 a game, the clubs are all in the same league, if you want to charge extra, charge the OF fans an extra £5 over and above what you charge already not the home fans. I have taken Young Cairn and Mrs Cairn to away games with Caley and have been charged extra and the home fans have not. On the note about kids supporting Caley i went to pick up Young Cairn from football training the other nite 4 Caley tops were been worn and not an OF top in site, this is the first time i have saw this.Mrs Cairn informed me more kids are now wearing Caley tops and less OF tops in view, now get the club to support the kids, as this new generation are supporting the Caley
  7. did not go to the game today because first i am a Celtic fan but i go to as many Caley games as i can. I paid for the tickets for my wife and son to go to the game as they are genuine Caley fans first and foremost, i started taking my son there because i thought it was rite for him to support the local team and he can see a game of football in a safe envoirment, then my wife decided she would start going as well ( costs me a fortune now). When my wife came back from the game to-day she told me there were Cetic fans in the Bridge End, i believe the Bridge End is for Caley fans not for away fans (thats why i didnt go today) when are the club going to stamp this out or is money the be all and end all of the clubs thoughts. There were two empty seats beside my wife and as she said i could have been there but she understood my thoughts as i thought it was unfair for me to buy tickets for that end and i could not have enjoyed the game , but if all Caley want is the money so be it i wil go next time. I also understand that the price of the tickets were out of the reach of the real fans as i thought they were a bit on the steep side. On the brite side, a few of my sons friends were at the game, these are primary school children (Caley fans)( some parents wer'nt) so maybe all stands well for the future fan base if the club play the game , reduce child prices by £2 or £3 pounds for cup games and keep opposing fans out of the home fans areas, these kids are the future of the club, as fans and maybe some players among them so I.C.T. play the game, support these kids in the way they support you.
  8. caley 100, i had a smug grin on my face (Mrs Cairn wiped that off though) i was brought up in Glasgow and i did follow my local team thats why i take young Cairn to ICT that is his local team , when he is older i hope him and his mates go on their own to the matches, as a lot are now starting to follow the Caley, and like me their parents have came up from the west coast, to bring our kids up in a bigot free envoirment

  10. i dont know the answer to fans not turning up to league matches , i think the prices are reasonable for me Mrs C and young Master C what i don like is the price being raised for the appearence of the O.F. we are all in the SPL , does that mean when Caley get in top three other clubs will raise their prices. Enough of that , back to the point, i like going to the games at Caley ground (wish atmosphere was better tho) i dont have to keep my eye on young Cairn all the time as it feels a safe envoirment, when i am not around, Mrs Cairn feels the same way as she will go up to the game on her own and feel safe there. Maybe if you can produce six home game stubs, Caley will give a free home game ticket for a child to get in free, children are the future of the club just a thought :024:
  11. Mrs Cairn has just reminded me , for myself, her and young cairn to go to Scotland V France worked out cheaper, i forgot about that :024:
  12. i have paid the price for wife and son, they are good Caley supporters :021:
  13. i have paid for my son and my wife to go to the game yes i think it is dear but we try to get to many as possible , i will not attend this one though , as i am a Celtic fan first then a Caley fan , i hope because i did not go to the game a genuine Caley fan buys the ticket, as usual Mrs Cairn and the young Cairn will be in the Bridge end , only one problem trains dont run to 12.30 to get their and this is one time i am not giving them a lift, will suply tissues for them though :019:

    Two Rules

i felt the stewards were really good at the game spot on as a matter of fact they threatened to fling me out for grabbing a quick smoke at half time in the bridge end, nothing was said to the two rangers suporters going tyo the toilet in the main stand (colours were being worn), i know i was in the wrong but so were they :020:
  15. arsenal are to recall stokes back to englandshire BUT still put him out on loan , Stokes has said he wants to stay in Scotland till end if season his loan spell finishes with Falkirk on the 01/01/07 with an option to stay, will he stay in Scotland with Falkirk, will he stay in Scotland with another team, he said he does NOT want to join old firm
  16. wat i find is the shock factor is that Caley are NOT winning more games as i have said in the past the shock is if Caley DONT beat the old firm or at least get a draw they are good as any team when on their game
  17. it was home support leaving early :024:
  18. those who left early would have heard the goal on the radio in their car stuck in the car park,it looked a fantastic goal, i wish they would score more at the bridge end so i can see them more clearly, some huns beside me , no colours on tho, but no reaction to either team scoring, felt win was well deserved, mite have been a record crowd but took a long time for home support to make themselves heard, the emty mite have been the huns that were flung out during the game, there were some in main stand huns that is, hope this win stops the rot :023:
  19. watching it now quality great no sound tho it went off
  20. ADMIN EDIT: Scotty ILLEGAL LINK REMOVED PLEASE NOTE - We (and you) can suffer serious consequences for allowing links to sites that are ILLEGALLY streaming footage of SPL games and it will not be tolerated. Please see this (legal) link for more information
  21. brew will not be back not even to sell pies, he cant come back, if he did christie would have to, leave, does anyone want that
  22. there was me thinking Caley wanted to be diffrent from other SPL teams till i saw season ticket prices . A £2 surcharge for playing against Celtic or Rangers just like other SPL teams so, we are not diffrent , yes charge the away fans but not the home fans. Celtic and Rangers are in the same league as the rest , so could this surcharge be explained to me in a satisfactory manner, we are going to watch Caley and who there opponents are no matter who they are.
