  3. For seventy minutes we played well and with great intensity, good to watch and looking far the better team, seventy five minutes in and we started looking tired and slightly content, lack of full fitness or was it the walking wounded syndrome ? County put in some horrendous tackles and got away with most of them. Polworth, Tremarco, Donaldson, Walsh, Doran key men, all were suffering but gave their all for the Team. County were outplayed and if it wasn't for Fox in goal we would have deflated them and finished with a high scoring win. Full marks to Ridgers too, some very fine saves and excellent distribution, setting up attacks that should have resulted in goals but the fine tuning of our attack just wasn't always there. It is a big ask to be ready for the replay, so many knocks to recover from and the frustration of yet another draw to get out of our heads. First thing the Board should do now is invite the Drummer and his chorus to free seats at the replay. What a performance they put up creating a fitting atmosphere for what was mostly a very enjoyable football match.

  5. Shell shocked !! What I think I watched yesterday was a bunch of amateurs playing together a game of kick about on a field. Worst performance this season giving the ball away with every second pass, little organisation at the back and complete lack of thrust at the front.. I felt sorry for Donaldson being thrown on when he was obviously out of sorts and not ready in fitness. I haven't read or heard Robbo's comments as yet but from this thread I gather there must have been criticism of the home support? Well from where I was sitting in the main stand most of the shouts were of support and encouragement, Well yes there was some moans and groans too but these were resultant of some of the many howlers the team was making and believe me most of the criticism was justifiable. Where on earth is the bustling forward we need to panic and upset defences ?? why were the crosses so poor in the second half, was it because Rooney was taken off? He is generally good going forward and generally gets the ball in the right places. We badly missed Doran and Walsh and I hope Tremarco is back next game along with a much fitter Donaldson. As a footnote Partick's unsporting behaviour of fouling and time wasting was atrocious and just how long does it take a Referee to write the names of offenders in his note book? This one wasted minutes on his own.

  16. I would certainly welcome him back, there were times when he really lit up the Team, I know he wasn't consistent but very few players in this league are and when he is on form 'he will crack open many a defence also giving us the width and pace we have lacked so much. As D.D says Walsh on one wing and Mulraney on the other sounds good. All we need now is someone to keep putting the ball in the net.

  19. I would like to see Rooney in an attacking right midfield or wing position with Polworth playing a roaming centre midfield. As it stands we are too defensive minded, especially after we score. also we need much more movement, creating space for the ball to be played into. At throw ins it looks as if nobody wants the ball, very little movement, we are not takeing advantage. Back post awareness at crosses is also lacking. I dont care what the formation is called I just want to see the right effort and attitude on the field.
  20. I imagine Robbo is going to sit the team down to watch what Livingston do when they score, they up tempo and attack attack attack . What we did when we scored was down tools and reduce tempo. We lost a good three point chance, It is not good enough.

  22. Bad luck ICTFC A valiant effort.
  23. OK Fraz but I just thought there might have been some useful comment from Robbo that could be shared, not all of us can attend as easily as those resident in Inverness. The Q&A was part of the meeting surely there must have been something worth telling us and I am sure many of us would be interested if there was anything worth passing on. There has been so much talk of the Board not being open with information I thought that the the supporters trust would be a bit more forthcoming.
