  1. Considering its a home game for them, they have only managed to fill 1 stand so far, the 3 blocks behind the goals are the singing sections and I think only 1 is sold out and moving on to block 2. Maybe their fans dont have faith in their team. http://www.heartsfc.co.uk/articles/20130114/east-stand-full_2241384_3041331 The east stand holds about 6300 so they have only sold another 700 amongst the other 2 stands
  2. ICT or CJT haven't emailed me I can only assume that they have competently discovered that I have bought my tickets, You can gain access to buy ICT tickets via ICTfc I have also checked Celtic and St Mirren web sites to see how ticket sales were going and you need to register for access. If anyone can buy tickets I would rather Hibs st holders bought them and sat up the top instead of having even more Hearts fans in the stadium.
  3. 1, mfr 2, emails to all businesses on ICTs data base 3, emails to all customers on the database 4, contacting schools and subsidies transport if required 5, competition for 4 tickets on mfr and local press, Q which SPL club has scored the most goals in the league? 6, CJT to email all fans encouraging them to go 7, make new fans welcome 8, Im not encouraging fly posting but if a black and white poster was created that was down loadable, then I wouldnt encourage them to be randomly posted around the city as that would be naughty . I spoke to a few County fans in the Gellions after our league win,I mentioned some County players from a few years ago and their names went over their heads. So I can only assume County picked up a few new fans on the back their cup run of a few years back. We should be doing the same. PS Im assuming that from Feb to June all Longman to A9 South traffic will be diverted past TCS, remember to take advantage of this passing trade
  4. It would offer a greater deal of protection for clubs facing relegation, if you look only a couple of seasons back a decent club got relegated on 37 points, in the modern day set up that club would have more of a chance to stay up, if Dundee were 20 points behind by game 22 they have been thrown a lifeline come the split.
  5. I think its workable and will bring more interest, as into the extra travel for the bottom 18 clubs as its a 34 game season, which means 17 away games as with a 10 club format its 36 games so it equates to 18 away games. I looked at how the leagues could be split north south years ago and it didnt really work out that well, you could have the 2 Stirling clubs playing in different leagues or both in the North or both in the South If you take Elgin, Phead, Montrose, Brechin,Forfar, Arbroath plus the fife clubs, by the time you reach 10 clubs the boundary is as far down as Stirling and will keep shifting depending on which North South club gets promoted relegated.
  6. Going back some 30 years I can recall having a wee unofficial poll in Culloden Academy as to who supported what teams, the majority were Old Firm followed by Aberdeen, Dundee United and one or two fans of other top flight clubs, locally only one fan of Clach (now a linesman) and one Thistle fan (whos also a Celtic fan) If truth be told, its unlikely that any of the current top flight fans mentioned actually went to games (excluding the local clubs) and just said thats the club they supported. As adults, of the ones I have kept in touch with, some have maintained their allegiance to their childhood clubs, will pay money to ICT to watch their team play against ICT, some bought Season tickets when we reached the SPL as they enjoyed watching SPL football in Inverness, some have managed to keep their kids supporting their own childhood team but still pay ICT to sit in the away end, some have started supporting ICT and some take their children to TCS because their children are now ICT fans The point Im making is that ICT has had a positive affect on local people since the merger, how much interest would there be for Caley or Thistle whilst in the Highland league from the above people? none. How much money would the HL clubs take from these locals ? £ 0.00 I wouldnt mind the opinion of a more youthful poster to guage the current level of support in their local school.
  7. Rangers actually hate it and their sulking has gone into overdrive if this goes through next season they will be no better off, win div 3 and then play the same teams
  8. But, way I see it is the reasons he gave for staying are exactly the same reasons he COULD have used for turning them down flat and not entertaining them in the first place. Sure, he was entitled to listen to what they had to say...but why do that if he WOULDN'T have gone if the set-up at Barnsley was one he could work within? See, that's what I can't quite understand....the fact that he pondered and came up with the same reason for his decision to stay as he could so easily have done if he decided to refuse to talk at all...and everybody is so chuffed...although, in the end, his decision was not based on what he said in the Club hand-out....because he KNEW that was the situation with ICT BEFORE the talks...so what he said in the Club news thingie wasn't the reason he didn't go, just something produced to appease the fans, imo. And it appears to have worked spectacularly! Loyalty is not staying where you are because all the elements in another offer didn't work for you..loyalty is not applying for/considering seriously/ talking terms other jobs in the first place. Not Now CATO. PS RE POST 582, CLICK ON THE ICON NEXT TO THE RUBBER, 'BBCODE MODE' IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS ADDING BOLD TO YOUR CAPITAL LETTERS CATO
  9. 32,620 views and counting, that must be a 1st surely too. The last couple of days have been great publicity for ICT and Scottish football. Im really pleased that Terry and his team are staying as for scouting for players, 1st class. Terry has shown that its not all about money, not only has he shown faith in his players but has shown faith in himself and his management team. I hope that this is a lesson for any players thinking of leaving, go and sign a contract, have faith in yourself, invest in yourself, your team mates and reap the rewards that you sow.
  10. We still have a manager but if we didnt, I think a lot of managers would be champing at the bit to sit in TBs chair at ICT. Moving into his house and admiring the same views on their way to work. Still in 2 cups and hope of Europe next year, if we do finish in 2nd we are talking big bucks and that would have been the old firms share. Theres also a lot of money coming in from cup games. If he does move on he doesnt need to worry about ICT as there will be a long queue of replacements.
  11. I heard he has a parrot called stanly, who picks the names of available players out of a food bowl.
  12. Ryan stevenson may miss the cup match due to being issued with a 2 match ban for that dodgy tackle, which would include Hearts V Celtic and our cup Semi final.
  13. What are the shop opening hours for organizing our semi final tickets
  14. At the minute nothing has changed, we still have a manager and the same players.
  15. It boils down to cash or glory, As a manager this must be his best job ever, still in 2 cups, 2nd in the league and one eye on playing in Europe next season. He will get more pay but he can wave goodbye to any of the above. I would like to see him here till end of 2014.
  16. The ICT train to Hampden The convoys of buses heading down the A9 to take on big teams in the cup games.
  17. I would arrange transport asap, Ive just been checking train ticket prices and the prices have shot right up from Inverness. The supporters bus is good value for money and could also pick up on the way down but the more notice they get the better, as they will have a better idea of how many buses to organize.
  18. I second that, ( posted twice and cant delete)
  19. If the club are able to organize a singing section they have got till tomorrow afternoon to sort it out and announce it, if not we have enough vocal fans to make it a good day wherever they are. I think the team will be pleasantly surprised by the amount of fans turning up. Wheres a good place to eat / drink on that side of the city
  20. £15 or £5 for under 16s thats it. Its going to be a great day out, Caley Jags Away ! Gangnam style
  21. To the pessimists, Go and buy the biggest fan you can find and try and blow away that big dark cloud that follows you around. Your a fan of ICT, its your job to believe in the club, its players and support them even more when theyre up against it. Think of Andy Murrays gold medal at Wimbledon, think of the echoing chants around the court. Now transfer that belief and goodwill to your local football team. Belief and goodwill for the team beholds no pressure, so let the other clubs suffer the burden of expectation.
  22. Add Don Cowie and Rankin to that list q10
  23. Well done to all the people above for making that happen. I'll postpone typing about the team being in 2nd, scoring the most goals in the League, going to a cup semi final for the 1st time in years, having the leagues top goal scorer, having a player who has the most goal assists (if thats still current) and our players being called up for their countries. I'll mention that another time for fear of offending some posters.
  24. Ive been to the year 2013 Not much has changed but Dingwalls under water ICTs great and the dodgy County ought to Be fined
