  1. Going off at a slight tangent, I'm surprised the Motherwell v Celtic game has been called off.  In my book, what better tribute could there have been than for these two clubs, for whom Phil played most of his football, to jointly remember him and celebrate his career . Re the minute's silence re applause issue, I'm for the silence.

  2.   And I've read that if a keeper dives to either side he has a 30% chance of saving it but if he stays in the middle he has a 60% chance and MF would've saved Nish's one had he done the latter.

I think these statistics are about right.  I've always thought that a keeper has a better chance if he doesn't dive to one side.  I'm surprised goalkeeping coaches don't drum this into keepers.

  3. I actually agree with you that he should be dropped if not playing well and Proctor should play in his place. Maybe that will give him the boot up the @rse he may need to improve his performances. However, I think you are over reacting in your calls for him to be booted out of the club.

Totally agree.  Let him regain his form in the reserves for a while, but booting him out is way over the top.  He has been a great servant

  4. Hamish - you are quite right...

It astounds me that so many on here are still so critical of the team and/or individual players in the middle of a run consisting of 5 straight wins, which have included our first win over Celtic in the SPL..

Me too. Just unbelievable! Especially whoever said we were lucky to beat Hibs (a game I was able to get to). We dominated the first half of that game, and the final 10 minutes. Unlucky to score only 2 goals.  You don't get 5 wins out of 5 by luck alone.  I don't hear anyone saying we were unlucky to lose the previous 5!
