Seriously, a lack of communication from the board is leading to a 1000 missed fans every week!. That, in my opinion is nonsense and there are many reasons for this, one of the biggest seems to be the lack of interest in their local football team by the good people of Inverness. This has been the case for many seasons and I wish I knew the reason why.
As for communication from the board, I think some people want communication for communications sake. If there is nothing to say from the board then don't say anything as there are plenty posters on here who will criticise any message from the board whether good or bad news. This is however where CJT can play a big part in improving lines of communication between fans and the board. Is there any update from CJT?.
The most sensible post on this thread by a long way. Some folk just seem more obsessed with off field matters than what happens on the pitch

Walsh just looks like a player who's been adapting to his new team mates and Robbo's tactics. He is improving each time I've seen him play and creating opportunities for others and himself with his runs and crosses, but just needs to find that composure in front of goal. I look forward to when it finally clicks for him which I don't think is too far off.
First time I've seen him live. Indeed the first ICT game I've seen live in several months. Totally agree with Snafu. He looked great in first half and I feel he can only get better with regular matches.

Well, I ploughed through all of this. Some interesting insights into the Butcher days, but generally pretty light weight imo.

Not sure if this is the right Forum or not (but for some reason have the inability to post on the swap/trade forum, think it may have been deactivated as nobody has posted in it since 2017), but does anyone have/know where I can get a programme of our first Europa League game (if there was one, obviously)? Ebay hasn't come up with anything and I can't find any for sale anywhere else. Any help?
I have one from the home game v Astra Giurgiu on 16 Jul '15, but not the away game. If that is what you're looking for drop me a PM.

Well, that is my hope of a 'local' match at Sutton United later in the tournament knocked on the head. Whilst I am generally in favour of blooding youngsters, I do think we might have fielded a stronger team tonight to ensure going forward in a competition we won last year. Not a lot left to win this year, except the championship and the Scottish cup of course. Maybe I won't hold my breath.

And I notice one of our ex youngsters, Andrew MacRae, released at the end of last season, I believe, scored a hat-trick for Forres yesterday

I think we all would have settled for that after last week's debacle. Well done boys.

All you have to do is ask!
From Alex Main's centenary history "Caley All The Way". (If you are the copyright holder and object, please let me know.)
The team is listed a couple of pages later in the book, and matches your line-up perfectly.
Nice to see "Porridge" MacKintosh in both photos. I remember his daughter from, I guess, primary school. She was called Roberta, but more often, like her father, she was "Bobby"!
Thanks for that. I'd totally forgotten about Alex Main's book. I actually have a copy of it somewhere. Anyway I'm pleased I remembered the line up accurately Good to know that a few of the grey cells still work.

Johnny 'come latelys', all of them. Anyone got a photo of the 1951 team? Now, that was an eleven to savour!
Bruce
McGillvary Maronski
Bolt McKinnon McIntosh
McBeth Jamieson Mitchell MacKenzie Fraser
A nice 2/3/5 formation too. Scare the pants of modern formations.

Yes, Dean Ebbe has scored at least 8 goals so far in 2018, 3 of them in Europa league matches.

Jake Mulraney bagged his first competitive goal for Hearts yesterday.
Think I may have said already that I think letting him go will prove to be a big mistake...for us!
Competitive? Wasn't it a friendly?

No Kingsmills, your right they aren't BUT when someone is slagging off one of our Coach's for nothing to do with his coaching ability then surely i have the right to tell him he is a tit?
Or should we just all shut up and allow Alan to say as he likes and say nothing?
A fair point you make. There does seem to be some inconsistency in the moderating in this instance when only one person is taken to task for 'personal' insults.

Thanks for singling me out OCG. Perhaps if you lived 500 miles or more away from Inverness, your involvement on a day to day basis might not be as great as it is either. It doesn't make us 'bad ' supporters, and some of us, including me, have made sizeable investments in ICT via share purchases in the past, as a way of helping the club out. So don't knock the 'long distance' supporters. I suggest we need all we can get through the gates, even if, for me, only a few times a year.
