  1. Well, that must have been a real squeaky bum time for most of the second half.  But, how great to finally win a game where all the stats indicate that we should probably have lost it.  Makes a nice change.  Well done to all concerned.  Maybe there is hope for this season after all.....

  2. As I actually was at yesterday's game, I feel I can comment with some confidence.   If there had been any neutrals at that game they must have loved it.  End to end stuff with plenty of chances at either end.   The game stats show that we clearly had most possession etc and probably should have converted more of our chances and won the game, but in fact we were hanging on at the end with Falkirk clearly on top in the latter stages.  Whilst I approve of giving our young goalkeeper all the support he needs to continue his improvement, the facts are that he was shaky from the start, and clearly must take the blame for Falkirk scoring direct from a corner.  He did not seem to be impeded, and  in my view, although we away supporters were a long way from the action, seemed just to misjudge it. Their keeper, in comparison, made several good saves which probably made the difference.  Thought there were fairly encouraging signs from McCauley, and if McDonald's left foot rasper just after came on had hit the back of the net, he would have become an instant hero.   Anyway, I enjoyed the game in 'Eagle for Caley's company, and look forward to my next live match.

Barry Wilson's 76 yard screamer at Motherwell going over Gordon Marshall into the roof of the net.

I remember that game , and that goal (the only one of the game as I recall) very well.  I remember, because of flight times from London, I got to Glasgow, and subsequently Motherwell very early,  a good couple of hours before the game. Ended up in a pub pre match where I met a 'scout' who was up to watch a Motherwell forward on behalf of Graeme Souness.  Can't for the life of me think who that could have been now.

  4. Nothing like a good dose of nostalgia to cheer us up!

I think I would also  go with David Raven's winner in the semi in 2015, probably as it is the most recent.  If we were to extend OP's question to include League Cup, then Nick Ross's last gasp equaliser versus Hearts when we were down to 9 men, before going on to win on penalties, is right up there for me.

Aye, there's a chance that the Man, the Myth, the Legend, David Proctor could be making an appearance in Inverness, hopefully the fans aren't too harsh against him...

David Proctor, legend???.  What are you on? Good player, yes, but legend?  Not in my book. But what do I know?  As I've  commented on before, 'legend' seems to be banded about far too easily these days when applied to former players.

Tansey was a great player for us not his fault he got injured I'd have him back in a heartbeat ! Wise move by saints picking him up on a free

I agree that he was a great player for us, especially in the cup winning season.  Some folks on here have short memories, and cannot see past his performances towards the end of his second spell with us, when he was clearly not fully fit. Nor was he for the year at Dons/County. However I do feel now that he will struggle to get back to his best, so perhaps it is just as well that he has gone to St Midden, not that we could have afforded his wages anyway.

Totally bud said at the start of the season we should've tried to get Storey back or at least a striker with a bit of movement and scoring record even if it blow the whole budget ye I'd probs bin Trafford as well young Mcgregors a better shout! The board need to show a backbone now and give Robbo money to get us into the playoffs or we'll be amid table championship side yet again who'd have thought only a few seasons ago we played Astra of the park in Europe !

Whilst I quite liked Storey when he was with us, he has scored only 2 goals for Partick all year, not exactly the form of a player who could really have made a difference for us.

  9. So, maybe its because I've not been following this thread too closely, but , for my sake,  please can you explain to me what the structure of the Board  now  is? ie  Who chairs it,  who is secretary, who are the other board members.?  And a brief outline of the Board's function and  objectives would be helpful, including how it interfaces with  ICT, the club.
