  1. Well, how shocking was that?  Easy to blame Ridgers for his howler, but in truth Dundee could/should have scored  3 or 4.  Our long ball puts towards White were poorer than schoolboy stuff.  Our so-called play makers, Walsh and especially Doran created absolutely nothing.  Huge improvement needed if we are to make an early impression in the league .

Haven't been in it for years either, but it's another piece of old Inverness about to disappear.

Yes, I remember it well from my youth.  I too have not been in it for years/decades, but sad to see it go.

Who remembers Hetty's shop further up, at the top of Castle Street?

  3. From a distance that felt like a really good pre season, especially the performances against the Premiership clubs.  Must give us confidence for the more competitive matches about to start.  I'm looking forward to the season with a good deal of optimism.  Good luck lads, have a good one!

Took a dander down to Berwick yesterday as it's only about an hour's drive. Men against boys, although Berwick were reduced to 10 men on the stroke of half time.

Yes, I've seen Cove play a couple of times in recent years on trips up north when ICT have not been at home, and have been well impressed with them. I suspect they will do very well and climb through the lower leagues quite rapidly.

Derby also have a chance of making it to the Premier league, I can only think of Allan Smart as making it from ICT to the EPL, have there been any others I’ve forgotten?

Stuart Armstrong, if you count playing for ICT youth team.

Not sure whether snooker is really a sport rather than a pastime but congratulations to a previously completely out of form John Higgins for reaching his eighth World Final over twenty years after first winning the tournament.

Here's hoping his luck is better than in the last two.

After the News of the World 'sting' all those years ago I went right off Higgins.  He got a 6 month ban, yet his manager was banned for life for the same incident.  How does that work? In my view Higgins was incredibly lucky not to get the same punishment as his manager.

I hope Trump beats him 18-0.
