Hopefully this recent run of goals has been the kickstart to a return to days gone by when he scored for fun in the first division and now is the time he has arrived in the SPL :021: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03:

Even as full time was approaching he was still running around with full gas as if the match had just kicked off. wasn't fully convinced on his signing at the start of the season given his performances last year for the wee club but have been very impressed with him this season for us. Clearly our best purchase from over the bridge and has to be one of the best signings by ICT. :001:

For once i agree with the announcement of man of the match. Russell was outstanding and would'nt have looked out of place in a Premiership side today. Now he just needs to start doing this every week :003:

I Noticed the 3 morons in yellow jackets heading up the steps to the top of section G today and wondered what was going on. Is this what it has come to, 3 cowards racing to be first on the scene within minutes of the kick off to tactically decide who should stay and who should go on the orders of one person lacking common sense :33: :33: :33: Why dont they go the full fecking hog and have a phone vote before each match. Mike Smith or whoever the safety officer is in charge of these tools, please resign from your position immediately :33:
-
Keep up, Gail Platt kicked him out :sillywave: No No Seriously, Its great to see Ian's attitude improve and long may it continue and hopefully gone are the days when he mouths off to referee's getting himself needlessly booked :021: Nice goal too today and got back into my applause book today :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03:

Marius Niculae ? WHO :024: oh yeah that's the one, overpaid for this club and unfit, only scored against Arbroath while being here, has only 20 goals in club football since 2001 for an attacker but is considered a "superstar" by many just because he has 20 something caps for his country, played part of a Uefa Cup Final and was apparently half decent on championship manager. Still if he turns that around and becomes a success over the course of this season and starts scoring the goals he's supposedly capable off then ill be delighted to eat any humble pie and be re-quoted in May and ill say i was wrong in calling him "WHO" :003: Before anybody thinks this is a personal attack on Marius, it is not. I don't know him and have never met him (although if he wants someone to go nessie spotting with, I love a good trip down Loch Ness :sillywave:). I'm basing this on what I've seen from his performances and stats. I would love it if he succeed at this club and i think a harsh but fair lesson in what the fans are seeing from him is just what he may need to give his ICT career the kick up the backside it needs. Lets be honest, We've slaughtered Rory for less. :024: I currently don't like what I'm seeing for the wages that's been paid and as a supporter I'm entitled to have a grumble.

Just return under the thinking your money's going towards your favourite players wage. Staying away is just letting Smith beat you :017: Principles are one thing, being at the stadium on a matchday and supporting your team is another :003:

IF its such a danger to stand up during a game, then why the feck are Stewards allowed to stand up and walk around looking for excuses to be noticed. Some of these power tripped toss-pots (and i wont re=phrase that because that is what most of them are at Caledonian Stadium) should just sit on a seat at the front of the stand and just not be noticed unless a serious incident is starting to happen, instead of going looking for easy targets such as kids who 9 times out of 10 are going to reply with a mouth of abuse or backchat landing them into more trouble than what the original offence maybe. A good steward is one who is not noticed. A bad steward is one who makes a name for him/herself by creating a scene by going up-to a situation that's not out of control. Either standing is banned in ALL stadiums no matter what the level of football, OR its allowed in ALL stadiums. Further up the league you go, fans are punished as they go-to the game with the prices then in the stadium with the "rules" that haven't applied at lower levels. :33: :33: :33: Somedays i think, a January afternoon jumping around on the terracing to keep warm with a howling gale off the north sea and lashing sleet at Arbroath in the 2nd Division is much more fun to being in the SPL and listening to that sectarian sh1te Rangers are freely allowed AND get off with blasting out while we are told to sit down.

I dont think there is any need to panic just yet. It will all come good eventually and i still believe a top 6 place is not beyond us. It will be difficult but it can be done, however ill be happy just to finish 11th after the start we have made this season. I do agree though the defence needs a bit of addition. And i mean permanent members not loaners. Midfield seems ok but could do with a natural left winger because there is too much space on the left never being used when we move forwards, either that or change the tactics so the midfielders can run into that space. We have no problem on the right with 2 or 3 chasing for every ball down the wing. Attack doesnt need changes, apart from maybe letting Rory out on loan somewhere and maybe bringing in a fresh face to challenge him when he returns.

Its rather cringeworthy that players names and players wifes names are appearing on the petition :33: If it is them then ok they are allowed their opinion, but if not then why are there names being used :018: i mean seriously :017:

Just an ameatur version of Chelsea and Hearts going on :024: Would'nt surprise me in the slightest if Niculae has to start every game he's avaliable for at the insistance of Savage/Orion and his/their money because even though he's a talented player his history does'nt lie, he's certainly not producing what he's capable of at the moment, whether thats lazyness, arrogance from being in a UEFA Cup final to being in a mickey mouse league or not yet adapted to the SPL i dont know?. He certainly wont be going on his stepping stone to the Old Firm in a hurry at this rate, I would however love nothing better than him to regain the form he is capable of and bang in 20 goals this season and prove me wrong. :023: If its the case with him playing because of the Savage/Orion interests/money then Yes Savage should stand down because its not going to work we've seen it with Romanov and his Lithuanians, Abramovich and Shevchenko. As for Bennett, If the Hagi rumour is true, id rather him as DOF than Bennett aslong as we dont become the SPL's version of Romanian duds. Would rather have 11 Scots playing well than 11 foreigners that couldnt give a toss where there next pay packet comes from.

Superman in Romania Police are investigating after villagers in Romania claimed to see a Superman-like figure flying through the sky. Almost 20 villagers, from Gemeni, Mehedinti county, claim the UFO was wearing a shiny blue suit, just like Superman's. Police officers took written statements from all of the witnesses and say they described the figure in the same way. Local policeman Ion Anuta said: "We talked to people of different ages who are all reliable citizens in our village. "They all said they saw this strange creature who flew over their houses in his shiny blue costume. We'll just have to see what happens next." Villager Constantin Toader, 41, said: "He looked like Superman and was flying slowly at about 100 yards from the ground in a standing position. He didn't make any smoke or sound. Just cruising around." :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :024: "Reliable Citizens" :014: Who they gonna see next week, Batman ? :001:

Sheffield Wednesday sue fans for defamation
wyness_is_god replied to EWS's topic in General Football
Played 6 Lost 6 Points 0 Surprised they have'nt started sueing the league table, that must look "damaging" when trying to attract players to a club that is as crap as that :sillywave: :023: -
Has Mourinho finally lost the plot Start of the week Biggest load of tosh since Cantona's seagulls following the Trawler :015: 'The style of how we play is very important. But it is omelettes and eggs. No eggs - no omelettes! It depends on the quality of the eggs. ?In the supermarket you have class one, two or class three eggs and some are more expensive than others and some give you better omelettes. ?So when the class one eggs are in Waitrose and you cannot go there, you have a problem.? Following the draw against Rosenborg "We had something like 20 chances but that was only enough for one goal." "Maybe we need 40 chances to score two goals or 60 to score three." :rotflmao: What a shame, its all gone wrong down at Ch?ls?a. :021:

Yes and No :010: November 2006 - Hearts sports director Alex Koslovski branded Hearts fans racists for booing and jeering Lithuanian players (one of which was Mikolunias) during a defeat against Rangers :017: However he retracted the statement the following week :016: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Cheating ***** :sillywave:

:010: :010: :010: :018: Nothing at all racist about the thread, As Scotty says in an earlier comment its about the english media, maybe I should have put (media) in the title myself when i started the thread, but hey were all guilty at some point of saying something and later thinking maybe that could have been re-worded to sound better. As for the Scottish media getting all excited about how Scotland are going to qualify being arrogant, I think thats totally different the Scottish media are more in hope, whereas the English media Expect. And If England do qualify then Scottish supporters will be saying the same thing next summer that the English (Media) are totally arrogant in the way they harp on about their win in 66 and how they talk as though they have the god given right to walk the tournament. As others have said, Its rather quite enjoyable seeing them set themselves up for a fall.
