Inverness CT -V- Ross County
I don't think Beaton had the greatest of games but whilst he got 2 important calls wrong I wouldn't criticise him too much for those. Referees have to feel pretty sure before they give a decision. Jervis probably did handle the ball but it is difficult to see when played on the highlights and it would have been difficult to have spotted at the time. As for the penalty I don't think he would have been sure Marley was clipped nor would he have been sure it was a dive. He may have seen it as Marley slipping or over stretching and losing his footing. Not awarding a penalty and not giving a yellow card is a perfectly reasonable position to take. I would criticise him for booking Nick Ross though. There were many worse tackles that went unpunished. However, the fact that the tackle gave the referee a decision to make was a reflection of a tougher attitude in Nick's play. He is getting stuck in a lot more and improving the physical side of his game which is good to see. While recognising that he may have been unsighted, or may have had his decisions influenced by the conditions - he did get those calls wrong, and they cost us points in a crucial game. Everyone makes mistakes, but I think it increases the stature of a ref if he apologises afterwards. Or am I just being old-fashioned??

Great achievement from the lads. Not surprising that the quality wasn't the highest considering the massive game on Tuesday night - maybe a bit of fatigue, and Dundee were set up to stop us playing. Subs added the spark.

Shinnie for Scotland
Its surprising to think that only 222 additional full paying adults split between the main and north stand over a season would equate to £100,000. On saying that you want to keep hold of all your existing supporters too. Shinnies done a great job for the club but as with any player, if we cant meet their wage demands then we cant afford to keep them. Back to the topic, he has plenty of years ahead of him to play for Scotland It's the biggest frustration of all. These lads play their socks off week in week out - level top with Celtic in mid-November is one hell of an achievement - and yet anything over 3000 is considered a good result for attendance. Aberdeen had 19000 for their home game with Celtic. For that reason I can't blame anyone for wanting to aim as high as they can; they've earned that right with the way they play. This is a special time, and we have to make the most of it and do our best to secure top 3 and get into Europe.

It's fairly clear that someone in authority has had a quiet word with Gollum and told him to stop spraying cards around like confetti if he wants to carry on refereeing SPL games. Either that or he's converted to Buddhism.....

Great game - really enjoyed it. So many positives - Mackay back on track in style, Warren's fantastic header, Watkins' 3 assists, Vincent's first goal of the season - coming from behind and goals galore, and top of the tree! Well done to all for putting on a great show. Only negative, as usual, was the crowd size....

Celtic -V- Inverness CT
We were set up too negatively to start. Watkins did well but was on a hiding to nothing first half. Why was Vincent ( a natural central player) playing on the right and Watkins (a natural wide player) playing central striker? The second half was much better. Wrong tactics - we should have played two up front from the start. Hopefully Hughes will learn from this. Defence were strong, and even though we lost we should approach upcoming games with plenty of confidence. Deila said we were the best league team they'd faced, and he was right.

Actually - they are my lottery numbers tonight! - Wish me luck Gollum could go from zero to hero!

St Mirren -V- Inverness CT
It's about time the Scottish FA took a close look at that clown Gollum. He's not fit to referee a park game. His ego just ruins the game for players and spectators alike. He must have friends in high places to keep getting these games, because everyone knows that will happen when he's down to ref a game. you just have to look at his stats.

Good preview - but no mention of Gollum as ref, who is our most dangerous opponent

Ibra Sekajja
Yes - on Wales standby - hits include: 'Standby for your rights' 'No County no Crowd' 'Exodus (movement of the Celtic people) etc.

A big Highland welcome to Ibra Good luck for the rest of the season, and looking forward to seeing you ripping into defences in the near future.

I thought there were a lot of positives from yesterday. Yes, we gifted them a couple of goals - but none of us can have a go at our defence, which has been immense this season, setting a club record. Warren, Meekings and Draper have all been superb. We looked sharp going forward, but I was bemused by the tactics to go more narrow in the last 15 minutes. A couple of well-taken goals for us, and on another day we could have won this. I reckon a draw would have been a fair result.
