  1. Davie makes a very good point. The team simply do not get the support they deserve and have earned! It's clear that team success is not having the impact we hoped for, so I'd like to see the club try some radical initiatives - e.g. £10 tickets in December, kids for a quid etc. - to try and get numbers up. I appreciate there may a short-term financial hit, but it would get a lot more people through the gates. It would be much better for the team to get 5,000 attendance on £10 tickets, than 2,700 on £20 (I know a lot of people are season holders, but more for less is more - if you get my point - though less financially perhaps - but maybe not if it takes off ) This is a golden age for ICT, with the best team we've ever had. We've got to make the most of it. Let's try some different approaches and see what works.
  2. We were playing 12 men when we should have been playing 10
  3. Macleod shouldn't even have been on the pitch after his two-footed studs up challenge...
  4. We are getting a reputation for being boring and defensive. Yogi set it up for a draw and we got what we deserved. Did their keeper have to make a single save?
  5. Why weren't we set up to test a shaky defence??? Shocking tactics from Yogi
  6. Should have been a red earlier on as well
  7. Yogi will have some questions to answer as to why he has approached this game with such negative tactics. Really disappointing

Well done to all. Draper has been immense this season.
  9. Phew! Saw this from the Mirror rolling coverage earlier - Finally, Bournemouth and Reading are poised to move for Marley Watkins of SPL side Inverness Caledonian Thistle, but Caley don’t want to see him leave so will make things difficult. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/transfer-deadline-day-live-arsenal-4142404#ixzz3C6YZIqoz
  10. Really enjoyed that. Bit of a game of chess first half, but then we stepped it up and Killie couldn't cope. Pleased for Meekings getting MoM - he's been outstanding so far - as they all have. Onwards and upwards! - oops....
  11. Congratulations Ryan! - well deserved. Wouldn't be surprised if Watkins isn't on the radar for the Wales squad at some stage, if he keeps putting in performances like Saturday's and against Motherwell.
  12. Fantastic Brill, Watkins and Draper - stand out - but top marks to all and to Yogi
  13. The mother of all first-half performances!! Well done lads - fantastic result.

Would like 2 wingers please! We are always more effective when we have width, especially on the counter-attack.
  15. Just want to say a big thank-u to MFR for their match coverage yesterday. Excellent commentary, and not having to listen to OAM on Saturdays will do my blood pressure a world of good this season...
  16. Yes - good performance today, although against a flaky side. Everyone played well. Great to see Mckay and Christie get on the scoresheet, and Watkins was very unlucky a minute after coming on. Roll on Wednesday!
  17. To be absolutely blunt, Yogi's personal target should be to still be our manager in January! If he achieves this, we will have played some good football and got some decent results. We have the squad to do this - in fact we have the squad to make Europe IMO - but only if they play in position and produce quality football (which is not judged by the quantity of passes!). The test of a good manager is the ability to listen to, and learn from his players, and to change things when they are not working. Here's hoping.....
  18. It's not exactly motivational is it? 'If we stay up we'll be happy'. That's really going to boost the gate, along with tip-tap-yawn footie.
  19. Water retention would be more apt Surely the club should vet what Yogi is going to say to the tabloids before he meets up with them Dougal Verbal retention would be better still....
  20. I'd like to see Christie and Mackay up front, with Doran on the right and Watkins on the left. All out attack with pace and width! Lets hit them hard and fast, so they don't know whether they are coming or going. I'm going for 3-0.
  21. On the evidence of pre-season, we have traded width, pace and counter-attacking - which brought us our best results last season - for tippy-tappy football with no punch. Don't blame the players, blame the tactician who is playing them out of position.
  22. You have to feel a bit sorry for Hibs - no team, no manager, no budget - a CEO who's been in the job 5 minutes, a Chairman who's the toast of Edinburgh, and an army of angry fans..... Maybe they should merge with Hearts......
  23. No cause for gloating on here. Butcher made a massive error of judgement in going to Hibs - he should have stayed with us until the end of the season and then gone. Had he done so, his reputation would have been high, he could have rebuilt Hibs and we would have been top 3 and looking forward to Europe. Butcher, Malpas and Marsella put together the team that we are tellling other clubs to keep their hands off. The team played for Butcher in a way they never have for Yogi. Hibs weren't the only team to rapidly slide......
  24. Thought Gollum was MoM - showed a more compassionate, human side last night. Not so long ago he would have sent Draper off for that studs-up lunge that gave away the penalty.
