Bus 7 is going to use this pub as we have children, where is best place to park the bus?
On the basis of the last two weekends, just behind Dean Brill.

Does it involve changing any rules to the benefit of Der Hun? If not, that would explain the deafening silence from the footballing authorities.

Tansey was probably a red card but Watkins was ridiculous. We shouldn't be giving idiots like collum decisions to make though as we can all see they can't wait to send players off.
Unfortunately you could replace 'collum' with the name of any Scottish ref and make the same statement. It would be better with a random decision maker - at least that would be more consistent.

I think our poor performance has taken away attention from something which I think needs some comment. Watkins' red card was clearly harsh as he won the ball and didn't even make contact with Paton. Paton over-reacted and undoubtedly his behaviour influenced the decision to send Watkins off. Given that Utd were already 5 up and Paton was the person who injured Mckay in a similar challenge earlier in the game (when the referee didn't even award a foul), I have to say, I am not impressed.
Wasn't Tansey's 'foul' om Paton too? Had Collum been consistent, Paton should have been off for his assault on Billy, and then neither tackle would have needed to have been made.

with good refereeing
It's Scottish Football. That's not likely.

Sitting beneath say Kilmarnock or Partick fans would probably be fine. Unfortunately Aberdeen have a fair few mutants in their support who'll take great delight in ruining it for everyone.
Lost for words DV?

When Celtic played Dundee United in cup final (1988, I think) anyone buying a ticket was asked "which end do you want?". Anyone responding "oh, have you got some tickets for the Celtic end?" went away disappointed!

That wouldn't be out of place on the inside cover of the much anticipated CD-single, 'The Red and the Blue'!

Looks like we've got a Val Doonican wannabe amongst us
Dougal
Val Doonican? Didn't he merge with Roger Whittaker?

To be even fairer, I was sound asleep after reading dougals post.

This no general sale thing is a bit of a smoke screen as anyone with a previous booking history with Aberdeen is able to buy at present. As they seem to be selling like hotcakes most Dons seem to have found a way to get a ticket without anyone trying to buy at our end?
It is stopping my mate from getting a ticket before Monday. I did the friendly thing and suggested that he could always come with me, but for some reason he was reluctant...
-
Surely not, their additional allocation can be released by all accounts so no need.
Yes, but they don't go on general sale til Monday. The less patient (and I guess by definition, less loyal) of the woolly masses may decide to take a shortcut.
Simple to spot too. They will be the ones who haven't bought a program, been to the refreshment stand, and indeed have their pockets stitched up!

think you should maybe start thinking before you post
Oh, the irony...

I understand that the Scottish cup would pull more people in as it is the bigger tournament and played in a warmer month at a traditional time on a Saturday.
Thanks to Champions League Final, the Scottish Cup final is now played on a Sunday. Presumably to allow Celtic to compete in both.

Just letting you all know that a couple of schools have accepted my offer of tickets and between them are sending 40 kids and 5 teachers to swell the ranks. Thanks to old caley girl for helping sort this out.
Excellent work by all involved!

The obvious choice would be the Highland Council. They love ICTFC.
Heard it's a done deal. They are changing their name to
Council of Upper Northern Territory of Scotland
and paying us to have their acronym emblazoned across our shirts.

Hibs are the only bottom 6 team who can catch us. If we beat them next week we only need 1 more point, or them not to win any game to guarantee top 6.
Given Hibs form since judas and iscariot jumped ship, I will be very disappointed if we don't finish above them.

Oh and as for an 'official' club anthem, the singing section have been singing cant help falling in love by Elvis for years and works a treat! So heres an idea, play that ;)
Airdrie were singing it in the early 90s

No they're not.
I am sure you will find that oranges are not the only fruit.

Doncaster is too much of a Bell End to care about anything else other than financial gain.

If some "rse sticks a big flag in front of my view it will soon be in tatters!
Don't worry, you won't be able to see the flag at the final for that pole obstructing your view.

Sadly we're just going to have to accept the fact that we will be significantly outnumbered on the day. Aberdeen have a higher home crowd and a larger populous to draw fans from on the day.
I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is constantly being treated by like the idiot child of Scottish football, who is clearly some kind of embarassment.
Maybe if they stopped falling over each other to help Der Hun long enough to actually think things through, we might get to a sensible solution, but I don't hold much hope.
