  1. Thanks for the reply IHE but the link doesn't seem to work?
  2. Tbh I was gutted when the club shop stopped selling the white third kit. I like it. The only thing that stop me from buying it last weekend when I saw it for sale once again in the new town centre shop was ... The cup final polo shirt that I bought instead.
  3. Toby Michaels did an ICT song for the League Cup Final. Is there going to be anything done like that for ICT for the Scottish Cup Final?
  4. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=agVpq_XXRmU
  5. I mentioned on the ICT v D Utd thread that I'd been thinking about this last week. If not James Brown "I feel good" (which worked really well yesterday and should defo be considered), I thought KASABIAN "FIRE". Jump to 1 min 13 secs below. Leicester City use it to great effect. www.youtube.com/watch?v=agVpq_XXRmU
  6. Btw loved the goal anthem repeated today (James Brown, "I feel good"). Coincidentally, I had been thinking about goal songs yesterday morning (maybe Kasabian, "Fire") but, on reflection, old Mr Brown gets my vote.
  7. Exactly how I felt at the time. Then saw the ball heading back to centre circle and breathed a sigh of relief but felt a bit cheated of a proper goal celebration so was glad we scored another two :)
  8. Will he be reporting back to Peter? Lol ... Good spot Dave ;)
  9. ... With the added cunning benefit of it completely confusing Stewart Houston if he happens to be an interested spectator at Ceptic Park ;)
  10. Huh? ... The game's this month, mate ... nae August ... just saying ;)
  11. Ticket fulfilment (i.e posting them out) for online sales and sales via the booking centre number are being handled externally. I believe they are due to start posting tickets by the end of this week. Thanks CaleyD. The tickets arrived today! Yippeee! ... So the external ticket agency is performing well just like the club :)
  12. I'm a season ticketholder living in Moray and bought my final tickets online as soon as available (10am, Monday last week) to be issued by special delivery post. Does anyone know when they are actually going to get posted out?
  13. He comes across as a nice steady guy in interviews but maybe not quite as excited as the rest of the lads with what we've done this season. Let's face it he's been there and done that. I fear he may keep his cards close to his chest in the hope of a move elsewhere. I live in hope that the club sign him up on another contract though. As you say, he may look slow and awkward (and he undoubtedly does) but you just can't quibble with his goals record (and he could have easily had more).
  14. That he did And that one against Aberdeen was a brilliant strike as well!
  15. Hats off to the ICT board for that. Roll back to when Terry left and many fans were concerned about whether we could maintain progress. At that point we were riding high in the league and looking forward to a cup semi thanks to Terry and his backroom as well as players. Yogi's appointment was a surprise and questioned in many quarters (me included) especially when results initially went south. 18 months on and we are playing attractive passing football, in with a great chance of Euro qualification (even with faltering recent form) and looking forward to our 1st Scottish Cup final against a tricky, albeit slightly less fancied opponent ... Who'd have thunk it?! Well done everybody.
  16. Sliding in or smashing it or side-footing into the corner might all have been fine. He didn't miss it completely which is something but a defensive pass-back was always going to struggle to find the back of the net. I suppose I'm extra frustrated because of the general wastefulness/bad decision-making yesterday.
  17. Setting semantics aside, I think the point is you cannot expect to fritter away a chance like that and beat Aberdeen.
  18. I did say it was a stinker of a miss and poor Marley has achieved MOTD fame for it ... Here it is ... Ouch ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/scotland/32475789
  19. Before the game I would have been disappointed but not surprised. Having been at the game, I am surprised as well. Based on the first half and even after we actually, eventually scored, Aberdeen were there for the taking. They were less impressive/more vulnerable than any of our previous encounters all season ... And I've been to all four. Gutting. Marley was naturally frustrated with his galling miss. In trying to make amends (and maybe get another shot on goal), he seemed to take on too much himself a few times when an early pass / through ball would have been a better option and he ended up getting crowded out.
  20. Agreed. The bizarre thing is that, for me, his defining strength in his first home game (Raith Rovers, Scottish Cup) was his ability to kill the ball when it came to feet. However, the one constant throughout is his heavy legs/lack of pace. Hoped this would improve with developing match fitness but not really happened. Disappointing given many of his best YouTube goals (albeit a bit dated) show him running onto through balls and calmly finishing (what Marley has been trying to perfect with fairly limited success). Still good stats for big Edward though.
  21. 4530. Really thought there would be more. A hoped for honeymoon after last weekend's heroics and against 2nd place local rivals also riding high. Not quite sure what it'll take to engage more local interest in our fab team. Would be great if some of the fans that come out for the big cup days could be enthused enough to make it more regular.
  22. Marley is a good wing man NOT a centre forward .. he is wasteful completely wasteful in the middle!
  23. Glad you brought up the apparently obvious Irish sound to these CO names ... I've been biting my tongue on that aspect so much over the last 48 hours that it's really quite tender lol!
  24. Yup ... the CO has got to understand his remit ... this should be his "bread & butter" ... he is an experienced city lawyer for goodness sake and should know it inside out especially given this was a high profile matter with his reputation on the line if he dropped a clanger ... fundamental ... and frankly unbelievable
  25. It was reported on Monday or even Sunday night that the ref had consulted the goal-line assistant and linesman as to the incident with Josh. He did not see it clearly to award a foul, the goal-line assistant though it hit Josh's head, and the linesman didn't see it. That was as clear as day, they mis-interperated what happened, but did consider it could have been an offence but ruled it out as none of them knew for sure. The tv pictures show the incident clearly, but you cannot tell if he tries to save the header, you normally have your eyes open if you try to save a shot or header. It was certainly not intentional. I do remember an 'incident' earlier this season, at Kilmarnock, but can't remember who the opposition were, but it wasn't Celtic, may have been the Dons or Well. Player unsighted from ref and linesman, raised his hand and saved a shot from 8-10 yards or so. No question about being accidental, or to close to avoid, he saved it like a keeper. No penalty, and it was near the end of the game. I can remember Sportscene making a feature about it. Conclusive tv showing the player raising his hand to his right and palming the ball off the line. No Complience Officer involved for what was an unquestionable deliberate handball. That would have set a precident for the after the incident retrospective handball, not to raise it when it was extremely questionable because it was against Celtic. I do hope that the Celtic players and management after this are men, and do not lay out a Roy Keane, Graeme Souness or Scott Brown style of vengence in their last game of the domestic season. It will be interesting to see if Josh plays against Celtic on the 24th ... weekend before the Scottish Cup Final ... at their place ... on Sky Sports live ... Hmm ... who says Scottish footie ain't entertaining.
