Team for Clach Match
Last night was a bit confusing... luckily we were able to hear the players calling to each other and that put names to faces... ie Ian Black shouting, "Oh Duffers"!!!! Have to agree with all who have mentioned Vigurs and Zander, both really stood out imo. Penalty taken confidently and thought Deano had some lovely touches. (By the way who was number 4?) .

Today's stewarding.
I sit in section B Main Stand and I just loved the atmosphere today, as A96 says, best of the season. It really livened up the stadium and was tremendous. I saw people being taken out and thought it was disgusting. What is the point of getting everyone together to make a noise and then complaining about.... well anything. As has been pointed out many times they let the away support get off with standing.

RANGERS V ICT - matchday thread
Great Post Caley D... you said everything I was about to say, although I thought Rossco played well, best I've seen of him for ages. Really hard to vote for my top three as they all performed out of their skins.Mikey, Richie, Russel, Granty...... Talked to lots of Rangers fans on subway, all agreed we deserved something out of the game. What a great day out. Can't stop smiling :001:

Mike Fraser
Aren't we all glad that after Mark left we had Mike ready to step into his shoes. I know its early days but I feel very confident that he is more than up for the job.... especially as other clubs (Hibs and Gretna to name but two) are looking for a keeper. Keep it up Mike :021:

Hearts V ICT - matchday thread
From Hearts fan behind me on way out," Didn't think we would lose,... didnt think we would win either!!" That pretty much sums up how I felt about us ( except we lost) Thought Rory was very poor again yesterday. Is it just me or does he seem to give up when he misses or is late for a tackle? Really wanted to see earlier substitutions, but don't know why Rankine was taken off for Morgan. His free kick was a real waste. Great singing though !! :021: :021: :021:

Strachan kicks off fracas.
I think Ian Black goes to the same supplier of big jackets as Gordon Strachan!!

ICT V Celtic - matchday thread
Now that I have got over that gut wrenching last 2 minutes, I really feel I have to say How proud I was of the whole team today. They worked so hard for each other and gave every last ounce of energy. Barry's face and posture at the end told the story. The Celtic team are paid an absolute fortune and on that showing dont deserve it. I loved seeing Riordan being dispossessed so easily!!

Marcus Paatelainen...
From Cowdenbeath web site: Markus is the younger brother of boss Mixu and signed for the club at the beginning of September 2005. Paatelainen joined Aberdeen on a 6 month contract last January but was released at the end of the season. He can play on either wing or in the centre of midfield and has been involved at under 21 level for Finland. Markus has been in sparkling form this season winning five consecutive Fan's Player of the Month awards. Suffered a serious injury away to Elgin City and had been sidelined for two months. The flying Finn made his comeback at Hampden Park and was fittingly a key player as Cowden clinched the Championship at home to Elgin. Markus capped a fantastic first season at Central Park by picking up a plethora of awards: Scottish Professional Footballers' Association Third Division Player of the Year, Supporters Club Player of the Year, Willie Anderson Trophy (Blue Brazil Fans' Player of the Year) and the Eric Mitchell Trophy (Players' Player of the Year). Markus made 24 (1 sub) appearances and scored 6 goals.
