  1. A very tough day yesterday. I want to thank everyone this season i have met up with had a drink with and went to games with. Been a long hard season but the crac has been greatno matter what. Amazing club with amazing fan's. Very proud to call myself a caley jag. Roll on next season so we can begin the fight back
  2. Well it was a up hill battle battle from the start. The board, remaining players and management need to take a long hard look at themselves over the summer. Still i don't regret flying over for this day. Got to be there for the bad times if you can do the good ones. I'll follow the club to any division. Still hurting today and will for a while but we must start rebuilding now
  3. Sitting in the airport now enjoying a nice balanced breakfast of a sausage and egg bap with a pint of Guinness. Next stop the caley club. Come on the ICT
  4. whoops corrected my mistake. I am that buzzing i can just about type
  5. when i booked flights over for this Saturdays game i was resigned to the thought of it being a nothing game as we would have probably been down. Never been so happy to be wrong. This game is now the most important of the season and i can't wait. Nights like tonight remind me why i fell in love with this club in the first place
  6. Get ****ing in there come on caley thistle
  7. he is pretty fit now doesn't have the speed he used to but he takes his fitness very seriously hits the gym a lot and i live near him and see him out running all the time. A lot of irish league players that do go across the water struggle to make the mark and i think Curtis was one. When county Boyce signed from cliftionville he was about 2 stone overweight and his pre game routine from what i hear was sitting playing playstation and eating mars bars until a team mate picked him up 40 mins before KO. How times change
  8. With the Irish league season ending Saturday past my local team Glentoran has endured the worst season in our 135 year history. Finishing a pathetic 9th in a 12 team league. For a team that is used to winning trophies and challenging for the league ( not so much in recent years) this season has been a disgrace. The best player in the team who carried the other 10 many times through this tough season was Curtis Allen. He netted 18 goals in total across all competitions which is a very impressive given he was barely fed any decent service from our almost none existent mid field. He has already picked up player of the year awards from most supporters clubs and the official vote at the ground on the last game of the season. He is also about to win the player of the year award from the supporters club i am in for the second year running (I'll attach pics of his award last year) and with his recent contract extension keeping him with the glens until 2020 we are going to be getting his best years and hopefully with the impending mass summer clear out we can build a team around him as he has been our key player since we got him from ICT and he will be for seasons to come
  9. please Richie for the love of all that is holy walk away. This is beyond brutal
  10. How can his position be defended now? Any club in the right mind would remove the manager. This is a complete joke
  11. It's truly amateur stuff we have been playing. I watch part time football most weeks and the standard of inverness isn't much better than what i watch over here most week's. Only difference is caley have more howlers from the keeper. Deserve to be where we are
  12. Bricking it for this one. Had to go out and buy a case of beer. Can't watch this with out it. Do or die now
  13. Curtis Allen scored another 2 goals for the glens today in a 3-0 home win over Portadown
  14. Curtis Allen scored his 14th league goal of the season last night in a 2-1 win for Glentoran away to Carrick Rangers
  15. all of our games in the last 2 months have been MASSIVE including today
  16. thinks that's it well and truly done and dusted now. I booked flights over for the last game of the season. would say we will be down by then
  17. Can see why the board give the vote of confidence to Richie ffs. All fight in that team gone now
  18. Wish these fixtures would hurry up. Trying to get a trip over sorted is a right nightmare at the moment
  19. Think the only way Richie will go is if he walks. . . . Who gives a untested manager a 4 year contract?!? No way we could afford to pay him off. Hope if he does stay he can get us back to winning ways in the championship as i think its all but curtains for us in the SPL now
  20. with well and accies playing tomorrow things will get worse before the weekend. well win and we get cut further from climbing out of the relegation zone altogether. accies win and we are 3 behind well and then 5 behind accies. draw and we are 3 points off accies and 4 off well. Failing to see the sliver lining here sadly. Think the night we lost 3-0 to accies was the moment our season was lost. the home draws to county and killie didn't help, It will take an amazing run post split to see us stay up. hoping to get a post split game over before the season is out. when are the post split fixtures out by the way? Said to the pals on my last trip over i don't care if we are playing celtic at hampden or queen of the south at Palmerston i'll still be coming over as often as i can to follow the ICT. Can't get enough of such a fantastic club
  21. our inability to win games at home or at all is astonishing.
