  1. The branches have finally broken for the horse stuck in a tree...
  2. Looking at the badge on the #ballistic t-shirt (that was released some 3 months late), it seems we're looking at a temporary badge change, maybe it's just a placeholder, but the badge looks nothing like the current badge, bar the shape, but it's hard to get a lot of detail as the quality decreases the further you zoom in...
  3. Kane Hester to Hull? They're on a EFL Championship budget, they can easily bag anyone better than from a Scottish League Two side
  4. In all honesty, if Cove come up I fear they'll be a new Gretna and end up putting 100 years down the pan after they overspend what money they have
  5. I think he joined Strathspey Thistle when his Contract died last season
  6. Reviving this thread because I've been indefinitely blocked by Wikipedia mods because they can't seem to admit that sources that have been wiped for the last 10 years can't be pulled out of thin air. So yeah, not too hard when you get down to it, and easy in the long run.
  7. Word has it that Dan's gone for a low 6 figure sum and a 20% sell on fee. Not too bad a deal tbf.
  8. Ngl I can see him returning to us a few years down the line. Can't keep a home grown player away forever.
  9. Not really big on the idea of the thought of the name instead of the badge... Imo it looks too much like those fan shirts you find on eBay...
  10. Not if they choose to run out his contract for a free deal. Might want to try to negotiate a sell on clause with them tho...
  11. Relating to above, I think a game against Newcastle or Sunderland reserves would be a nice wee test for the team, and could get a decent attendance. Also need to mention that we're still waiting for this 25th Anniversary big game, so maybe some talks with Augsburg would be good.
  12. Is Neil the first interim manager to win it?
  13. So do Robbo and Neil play rock paper scissors for the medal, or are they going to split it in half?
  14. The ******* irony of that. "We need to unite against racism"...meanwhile a player that was racially abused ALMOST TWO MONTHS AGO is being left in the dark. I fully back what they're getting at, but when they're taking the moral high ground on this but doing seemingly nothing when it actually happens is a joke
  15. Don't know the fine details, but been seeing it a lot on Twitter that David Cox has retired from the game due to abuse about his mental illness, depression, I think, and that abuse in tonight's game was his final straw. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/7040495/albion-rover-cox-retires-football-suicide-stenhousemuir/
  16. I'm not going to lie, but with the SPFL being more concerned about Neil kicking off and East Fife refusing to play due to COVID cases rather than racist, and recent ableist (I think it was anyway, in tonight's Stenny game) abuse is surely the biggest call to arms among fans across the country there can ever be. They've gone out of their way to fine East Fife £11,000 because they, rightly, refused to play due to a positive Covid case in the Clyde squad, and clearly, in the reply above, punishing Neil for a touchline strop. The SPFL is corrupt to the core, and as we've seen down south, an army of fans can force change. I might sound delusional, but when we're talking about the integrity of the league, it's more than warranted to protest against Doncaster and his cronies.
  17. Was a suggestion for if Robbo leaves and Neil doesn't want to take over. He's likely to be sacked by Uncle Roy come the end of the season anyway, and the we will probably take him back on board thinking he can take us to glory again. Was simply throwing my hat in the ring with a possible contender, and wasn't suggesting we sign him right now this second. A (soon to be, potentially) managerless club and a managerial legend for the same club, would be too good to turn down in the eyes of the board...
  18. Not sure if I would put my money on Yogi or not (assuming Robbo leaves and Neil doesn't want the job)...on one hand he's a legend at the club and has shown he's can do things that nobody could have foreseen, but on the other he's had (just about) back to back relegations with two different clubs...
  19. Goal of the Season is a rather easy choice...
  20. Looks like we won't be getting a penny from Christie's transfer... https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/7017686/celtic-christie-free-transfer-contract-detail/amp/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter&__twitter_impression=true
  21. Well, as things stand, we're the prime contender depending on who comes down. Us, Dundee and Raith are the top teams next season (assuming either of the latter don't go up). Not sure how much of a fight Patrick will put in, and Hamilton I don't think will be able to do a whole lot either. Not saying were practically going to be champions from the get go, but there's a chance...
