Just Forfar, Killie, Hamilton, Queens Park and St Johnstone do (with Glasgow City playing at Clyde's ground). The rest are at training grounds, unis or at the titchy wee league sides. Pretty easy to show who's playing on Astro and who's on real grass

Thats one of the massive disadvantages of the lack of suitable football pitches in Inverness. We can't risk having the pitch be torn up every weekend, so the women's team are here, there and everywhere trying to find a 'home'. Loch Ness were sharing with the Rugby Club last season and are currently playing at the Bught with the IDFA teams, and Athletic have been bouncing around the area most recently at Muir of Ord and now out at Ardersier. Leaving the women's and reserves with a choice of Charleston, Millburn, the IRA and (I think) Culloden Astros. If the council wants to actually help it's local teams out, to improve the standards of youth football etc, then it should revamp land that's otherwise going to waste into decent football pitches. I have a feeling that had there been more reasonable quality pitches in the area the Women's Team could easily be in a fighting chance of getting into the SWPL and our reserve side would be competing in the SPFL Reserve League, rather than dragging our heels and praying that the Highland League will let our reserves in...without having a ground to play on...

Anyone know where they're actually playing this season? Best guess is the Rugby Club, but not entirely sure if they're sticking about at the IRA...
  4. Sitting at #19. Match number 100 next weekend, and a fair way to go til the top 10...
  5. Suppose after yesterday another thing that probably should be brought up is what seems to be a mobile data blackspot where the stadium is. Anywhere else in town I can load up and upload pictures to social media at any time at all with no issues, but it took an absolute age for it to work yesterday. I'm aware this isn't the club's issue specifically, but it certainly isn't the only place in town with a blackspot, so it would be worthwhile bringing it up and forwarding it to the council for them to deal with.
  6. Was half expecting Billy Mckay to come on for Duku tbf
  7. Err...has there been any word regarding seating, cos in this weather I can't see it being favourable to be perched in the front few rows 😂
  8. Is asking the media team to pull the finger out and do their job an acceptable contribution to the next meeting? Seeing as the response by the club for this, that and the other on twitter has been woeful in comparison to admins we've seen in years gone by... People need their questions answered, not just left ignored, it doesn't give the club's social page a good look
  9. Tagged both clubs in a tweet regarding it earlier today, but it appears I've been patched...
  10. Taking a guess that that's the lad who hopped the wall after Shane scored. Chokehold seems a bit excessive for that.
  11. Duku Walsh 4th MacGregor
  12. Away fans are allowed into Arbroath this weekend. Is there any updates on the supporters bus, or is it a case of make your own way there for the time being?
  13. How in the hell did we manage to hold out for a 1-0 loss, whilst we've been godawful against Stirling and Cove?
  14. Dan MacKay starting tonight in the UECL against that Andorran side that I forget the name of
  15. We've pished away the easiest group stage we've had in seasons, all against the wee part timers too. Dodds is a raging fraud.
  16. Is it too early to start the #DoddsOut campaign?
  17. HMS Pish The League... 300px-RMS_Titanic_3.webp
  18. Cove game does have an away allocation now. Assuming the Supporters Bus won't be back in action til later on in the season?
  19. Don't want to be that guy, but I kinda blame our loss on the ref. Their first goal, I felt was retribution for what probably should've been a penalty from a handball, but then there was absolutely tons of blatant penalty and dangerous free kick opportunities that the ref did nothing with. Their second goal was absolutely pish poor and didn't deserve to happen...
  20. Hopefully it's not a boring 2-0 penalty win like the last time we played them...
  21. Has anyone managed to get tickets for the Cove game, or are they adamant that it's only for home fans?
  22. Not going to lie here, as I was an early leaver, but the stewards did nothing whatsoever in preparation to let fans out in sections. If I recall right, at the Christmas game against Dundee, they were there and ready at the full time whistle and let the fans out with no problem, but today, they were nowhere, so everyone left at their own accord whilst still safely distancing themselves where possible. And in fact, one steward even tried to force everyone back to their seats before being told to not bother by a superior, as it would cause a backup of fans. It worked with the 300 fans we had last year, but it's a pointless effort when there's over 1000, and it'll take an absolute age to go through every. single. section one by one to let fans out. Another factor being the bus leaving about 15 minutes after full time, which would be about midway through releasing the north stand to the wild, so people would want to be on the bus sooner rather than later. If they want people to leave safely, split the stands down the middle and open both sets of gates at the ends, and make sure people go out the right exit, cos the way they've let fans in and out is...interesting...to say the least, they get massive pileups at the front turnstiles, but don't bother to open up the rear turnstiles to ease the flow.
  23. Not sure if anyone here has connections within the club, but can a memo be passed on that I'd like to keep my hearing during the half time safety announcements. If it's going to be like that throughout the season, I might need to invest in some earplugs before I go deaf 😂
