Caramel Wafer Cup Semi Final
Be surprised if the game even goes ahead. Been tipping it down all day yesterday, and most of the night...

Quarter finals
So that's what. Leaving town at approx 3, 3 (extra half hour including Broxden) hrs down. Kick Off at 7:45, full time should be around 9:30 another 3 (another half hour at Perth) hours back, and arrive back at around 1:10. Quite possibly later due to additional stops en route and, likely, driver shift changes... Really hasn't been thought through for the fans, has it...

Caramel Wafer Cup Semi Final
Sure we won't be playing in Dungwall? Keeping in tradition of the organizers screwing over the team from stupidly far away...

Hate to say it, but we're in a rut. We're never going to actually get a decent attendance. Main factor being, our time in the Premiership, we were never really consistent. We were just bouncing around in the bottom six with a few peeks into the top half. We go on a long run like we did in 2014-15, there will be fans, bums on seats, barely room to breathe, but then one tumble the next season, they scatter. I keep repeating myself til I'm blue in the face, and most likely boring you of how often I say it, push for the top half of the table. Faltering results by established teams like Hearts gives us an opportunity, we can fight, we're not a one time show, we NEED to grasp it while we can.

Quarter finals
In one sense, I want to believe this. That they'll play a younger team, a weaker one, no Christian Doidge, no proper decent players. In another, I want to feel they're lulling us into a false sense of illusion, that they'll start a really good team and we get scuppered and go home heartbroken...

Feels even better comparing it to C*unty's 2 in 26 ?

Swear Robbo has some magic powers when it comes to the Scottish Cup. Back to back Semis in 2003 and 2004. And again in 2019 and (here's hoping I don't jinx it) 2020. He's been with the club over 4 and a bit seasons, and has shown he's one of the most consistent of the lot. Pele only managed the Quarters in 1 of 7 Seasons. Charlie did it in his one and only season. Terry managed the Quarters in 2 of 5. Yogi is the only one who's managed to do a clean sweep with 3 Quarter Finals in 3 seasons. Sergei, Brewster and Foran never have. Robbo definitely knows his way around in the cup...

EGM called on 3rd October
https://ictfc.com/ict25-memberships-announced Two questions I have on this. 1. Are the whiskeys going to be properly Limited Edition or 25th Anniversary Kit "Limited Edition"? And 2. Will these benefits (I.e. Stadium Brick, Whiskey etc) be available to the general fans?

2-0 C*unty. 57 mins, Billy Mckay both goals. Either they're playing a weak team, or are just rubbish...

Stadium announcements in Gaelic.
In a sense, I somewhat agree. No point doing it when A) They understand English well enough, and B) There's nobody that it would even benefit. Like the gaelic announcements. The only time announcements in another language would somewhat make sense, is if (by against all the odds) we end up playing in Europe against a team from a country that isn't fluent or majority in English. Otherwise, it's completely pointless, never heard anyone speaking fluent Gaelic bar once at Inverness Athletic earlier this year, but he still spoke English, and more than likely, his children who were also speaking Gaelic did too. It's not worth having separate announcements for maybe not even a handful of people. I'd say it's the equivalent of an English National League club making announcements in English and French, hell, I don't even think the Irish/Northern Irish Premiership club's make announcements in both English and Gaelic...

We could be in with a shout of winning. Who knows what they'll prioritise, cup or league, but what seems likely is they won't play a fully fresh squad. Here's hoping that C*unty give them a good run about tomorrow night...
