  1. Class act from those Hearts fans. Also begs the question why we haven't set up a GoFundMe page yet, despite our situation...
  2. Just thinking...would loaning all the youngsters, or anyone who heads through the ranks, to Clach or Fort William (maybe Nairn too), cut down the costs on Youth Development, or only increase the costs? Cos, like with our 9 players at the Fort, it's benefiting both sides. The players are getting game time/training they need, and the club is improving...
  3. Always remember him as our best free kick taker by a mile...
  4. Completely off topic, but Greg Tansey has announced his retirement...
  5. Trains going to be quicker, and, as it's Stagecoach, there's no guarantee it'll be on time
  6. Nice piece of fear mongering courtesy of the Daily Record...I get that we're strapped for cash, but we're a fair way away from Administration... https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/inverness-caledonian-thistle-face-administration-20392996.amp?__twitter_impression=true
  7. Going to try and go. Doubt there'd be a supporters bus running, so the only train through is ~12:30, which is rather early considering the station is more or less right on the doorstep of the ground, so its just lurking around Forres for a good 2 hours, hopefully there'll be a decent turnout despite likely being crashed out after the trip go Ayr...
  8. I'd replace him with Aaron. Carl, I feel, has past his prime, and is simply there to provide experience and to teach the youngsters the tricks he's learned over the years. No disrespect to Carl, love the man, but I feel he's either leaving the club or hanging up his boots at the end of the season. Can see him moving on to coaching afterwards, he has gone and done a thing with "The Other Foot" or whatever it's called, so he's either back off down to England or player/managing in the Highland League...
  9. Tbf, I think we deserve to celebrate in a way. Still in 3rd, and the ugly sheep got humped 5-0 by Rangers...
  10. Well...at least someone remembered something, unlike the ref who seemingly left his cards in the glovebox of his car...
  11. Just remember they're celebrating being off the bottom on goal difference ??
  12. Swear they left when we went down. Regard those fans as scum, hopping on board when we're doing decent then leaving when something goes wrong. No loyalty in them...
  13. Shame that it's only one charging point and it's in the staff part of the car park. Surely it would've made more sense installing them along the home and away stands, so you can top up whilst watching the footy...
  14. Doesn't really help the fact in the past few seasons, most our players have left for free. If I'm right, everyone last season who left, went for free...
  15. It's 3rd vs 10th, and they've only dragged out two draws in all 6 of their games. Easy wins on the card, not as much as that Morton game, but certainly a decent margin...
  16. Yeah, (pray to God it never comes to it) if we do go under and have to dissolve, I'd hope all our fans would go to support the revival club rather than scampering off to watch Clach or C*unty...
  17. If we call the new club The Inverness Caledonian Thistle F.C., do we get to keep the trophies?
  18. Somewhat related, but Grae Rae and McPhee have left their roles... https://ictfc.com/club-statement-4
  19. Never knew that. Guess you learn something new every day...
  20. First Professional, First International, and a local boy. One of our best players from what I've heard
  21. Legend- Alan Hercher or Richard Hastings, maybe Pele, but I don't think Pele would come under the rules... Memorable Moment(s)- David Raven Semi Final, SuperCaleyGoBallistic, Europa League Debut
  22. Maybe it would make sense for the club to open up a shop in one of the many empty lots around town, the high street is usually packed with Tourists, so it'd get us exposure, as, an industrial estate, is hardly a tourist hot spot. We've got a similar situation to Stoke City, both of our stadiums are based in an industrial estate next to a major road. However, they have a club shop in the shopping centre, and when I visited, it was packed (not the store, but it did have reasonable foot traffic) and there was quite a fair amount of tourists. Not sure if it was cos they were a Premier League club or not, but having a club shop away from the stadium, is going to give us more exposure. Hell, Celtic had a club shop in the Eastgate, and we had a wee corner of the Victorian Market for a little over a month when we made the Scottish Cup Final...
  23. Nope. Was the First Round. Clach are also at Home next Saturday in their replay against Nairn, in case you'd (god knows why) rather an early Scottish Cup fix over a 3rd vs 10th clash. And for further info, the Second Round Draw is tomorrow night at 8 or 9 (According to the Fort William Twitter) on Sportscene. So, there's a chance our weans can be facing up against our other training team, Elgin. Clash of the Caley, if you will...
  24. Jokes on them, they can't play. Be sending them packing. Beat Arbroaths 36 goals... Also, we start in the Fourth Round this year.
  25. Yes and no. Their attacks weren't very edge of seat attacks. But we were just gash towards the end of the second half. WHY THE FECK DIDNT ROONEY JUST SHOOOOOT MUN.
