I can't see this wee competition lasting much longer without a sponsor. It never attracted big crowds but there were some poor attendances last night:
Partick - 1208
Q of the S - 1389
St J - 1261
-
Quite a strong team then according to that - poor ol' Golspie eh! :015:

PA system?? What PA system???.... ??? ???

Not seen the new version yet so can't pass comment. No doubt we're still on last and get a paltry 2 minutes or so. Come to think of it - I don't think I'll bother at all this season.....just can't be ersed to sit through all that OF dross.

Inverness Curry report:-
During our wee break in the Highlands we managed to get to a couple of differant curry houses...
Rhajdhani - Acadamy Street:
Despite them cocking up the table booking for 13 it all worked out well in the end but we had to wait an hour for the grub (caused by the table booking etc) but its the food thats important. I'm pleased to say that the food was excellent and I can recommend this place to others. I understand its only been open for about six weeks so it could get better (or worse) with age. Worth a try.
Cinnamon - Milburn Rd (opposite Morrisons / New Eastgate Centre etc): Went for their Sunday buffet - £8.95 as much as you can eat. Food was excellent - especially the Beef Bunha and Chicken Tikka Mossala. Definately worth a visit. Or check it out at http://www.cinnamon-inverness.com/

Who were the last team to put 5 goals past Gretna? :004:
Although I can't imagine that our goals were anywhere near the calibre of Derry's.
All ICT goals are crackers.... :001: I was there for that game - its like a home match for me :015: :015: :004:

... would you rather have Eddie Thomson ??
Over my dead body....wouldn't want Romanov either (or any equalivent!).
I'm still going to sit on the fence though and see what happens over the next few months. I'm sure Mr Savage will be an excellent chairman for ICT and will follow in the footsteps of previous occupiers of the seat and have ICT's best interests at heart. Here's hoping anyway.
-
Fair point CD. ICT have done wonders so far with an, almost, 100% Scots squad and I'd personally hate to see the end of that. I just wouldn't like to see ICT go down the Hearts road if you see what I mean.
Also, could the 'thought' of introducing foreigners upset the current, excellent, team spirit?
I'm off to sit on the fence now and watch things from there for a while.. :004:

Maimie - sounds like you were fortunate to have a good gig. According to repors on Kerrang radio there are quite a few folk out there who thought they were pish. Axl's antices don't help and they're very often late turning up or not at all.

saw within temptation supporting iron maiden in paris last year they were pretty good
Within Temptation...now there's a band I could grow to like very much. Sharon den Adel surely has the best female vocals of all time, total quality. She looks pretty good too... :004:

Gringo - just told the missus and she is indeed distraught ..... your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find a worthy replacement before we arrive :015: :015: :015:
Mission accepted....I have two weeks to report back. This is gonna be one 'ell of tough mission... :015: :001: :004:

Devasting news - my fav' restaurant goes up in smoke. :019: :019: Gonna have to find another home for the next two weeks now.... :019: Anyone tried the new one in Acadamy Street...erm...the Rajdhani I think its called.
-
Great to have you back on the board again....you've been gone faaaaaaaaar to long. :clapping04:
-
....something about him wanting to use his business contacts in the far East, Russia and Africa to get us potential players IIRC
Can't say I'm particularly overawed by that statement...arn't our youngsters that good enough after all?
-
Aye...best of luck to them. Could be a good breading ground for new talent.
Would anyone be going over the bridge to see them....North Kessock according to the Courier.
-
The only thing about journalists that gets my goat is very poor reporting and bullshit stories.
I have no problem with guys who give a good honest, unbiased, reports - no just footy - but anything. These guys (and girls) are a very rare bread I feel.

ICT's first ever defeat against English opposition :019:
However, it was all about Rossco tonight. Hope you had a great night big man and I hope to see you in action next week when it really matters.
-
OK...Mrs G and me will also be up for a couple of weeks. See you in the Innes (hopefully) on the 29th.
-
Hi Dmacca.....I can't remember whether you travel up by rail to Inverness or have the sense not to, however, if you are using the rail network please be aware of the latest news:-
RAIL STRIKE:
RMT signaller members will be asked not to book on between noon on Friday 21 July 2006 and 11.59am on Saturday 22 July 2006. Also for members not to book on between the hours of noon on Thursday 27 July 2006 and 11.59am on Saturday 29 July 2006.

Unfortunately not Harry. Not sure if its possible to do either - I don't have that power I'm afraid.
The NPL will be the same format as previous season's with a few 'tweaks' here and there.

Hope we give Dumbarton the same kind of respect as we gave Golspie last night. :006:
