  1. Supporters club will cost you a fiver and you get to meet the lovely Lady Fraser. There are also other benifits. The trust costs a wee bit more but you will end up with a share in the club
  2. dale is only one year younger alex. Ok son. I'm not here to destroy your impressions on Iain..........just to put my view across.
  3. Dale's also two years younger so is playing catch up
  4. Alex did you see dale play in the 3rd division, i did quite a lot, for me he looked like he possibly found his level there as he wasn't that great. being there on loan from a SPL club he should have coasted that level as did zander and vigurs(at age 15) but Dale didn't. he isn't going to cut it any higher i'm sorry to say, so it's just wishful thinking to think he is a going to do a job for us in midfield. we won't be coming back up if that is the quality of player we will be playing. CaleyP I feel sorry for you taking in Elgin on a regular basis, surely you can find something better to do with your time. I took the time to go through to Elgin and caught a game with Dale Gillespie and Andy McNulty taking part. For Dale to have made an impression was pretty ny impossible, the majority of the Elgin players were truly awful and didn't even possess the the most basic footballing skills and quite frankly didn't care one little bit. I am led to believe half the squad were based in the central belt and didn't train at all and the north based players didn't exactly commit themselves either with on one occasion only three first team players showing up and that three included Dale and Andy. Liam Keogh had the right idea, persuaded to pull on his boots again and signing at the same time as Dale in January he walked away after two games having realised just how bad the Elgin squad was, the ICT players didn't have that luxury and had to stick it out. Thankfully with the ICT squad being pared down to the bare minimum will mean non of our youngsters will have to endure a loan spell at Elgin, a complete waste of time. Another season like that and they will go back into the Highland league or fold completely. haha well your probably right. I know what your saying but i still maintain that a good player will shine where ever he is, such as touch and passing will stand out, however, Dales touch and passing was just as bad as the rest of the teams. you can still spot quality if the player posseses it no matter who he is playing for and with. CaleyP, I'd love you to be right. Iain has the skill to be a success, but only on one side of the pitch. Dale has the good fortune of being two footed. If he's coached right he will be as good, if not better.

  7. R, The Vicky market guy will give you what you want at the time.
  8. The guys have hardly had time to catch breath yet. Keep watching HERE and all will eventually be revealed.
  9. I wouldn't bet on it.

Wherever you end up Iain I hope you are successful and wish you luck.

Hardly a good example considering the diabolical season Elgin have had. i agree how diabolical their season was but you would think that would make him stand out more against poorer players, however, that didn't happen. anyway we'll see. One player cannot make a team. Dale wasn't playing against poorer players. He was playing with them. Sadly, I believe, rotten apple syndrome.
  12. I'd go back in again. I did count you in the figures, along with your man. Whens the piping tour and whats the itinary?
  13. Maybe it is though I thought that was Charlestown. I thought Charleston was where the academy is. I may well be wrong and people from over the bridge are also welcome to purchase season tickets.
  14. Johnboy, is it not the case that you are being very negative about the management and our chances of success, not because you believe your own words but, because your a Dunfermline supporter first and foremost. :(
  15. Dont know the answer to that other than Butcher said he would want to keep only those he wanted. Whilst researching something else I came across a piece of little known info. It is an SFL rule that a club can have no more than 22 players in the squad who are over 21. So as thinks stand at the minute we have 8 over 21 and 3 under. Anyone got any info on which under 19 players have been let go?? Not sure that they can be unless they are at the end of their apprenticeship.
  16. They used to be the Inverness Caledonian Thistle Ladies F.C. I heard that they are struggling to find new woman players :( ! R, you and your mates could go and join them. Yes they probably will struggle for players. I dont think womens football is supported as well up north as it is in the central belt.
  17. Now that the depression has waned and the foresight is becoming unblurred I see a lot of positives. We can be cup giant killers again. We have a great chance of balancing up the trophy cabinet with another championship cup and we can fly a brand new flag above our stadium come next May. We can visit grounds we've missed for a few years and renew old aquaintances. And remember: The Only Way is Up
  18. **Sorry off-topic*** Wheres Charleston, the only Charleston i know of is in fife near limekilns and crombie. **Back on topic*** Im getting my cousin to get a season ticket, not much compared to nine and four but still one more. :( Between Kinmylies and Torvean is an area known as Charleston. It is also where the 'other' academy is. There is a tendency for some of the older members of this site not to admit to being a Charleston kid, or for that matter Kinmylies, Dalneigh, Scorguie. Personally I think everyone is very welcome to buy season tickets for ICT regardless of whether they learned to read and write. besides I cant be biased. I went to Lochaber High.
  19. From what I can see we have 12 or 13 names so far. This sponsorship has been running for a few years no and it would be a shame if it was to fall by the wayside because of a wee setback with the club. 47 names required. Sponsorship is in the name of 'Internutters and Innes Bar Supporters Club'. Each person pays ?10 and at the end of the season a draw is made and the shirt / corporate gift is awarded to the winner. Easy really and only a tenner. Come on guys and girls do your little bit to support your club.
  20. Permission to sig??? Sig? I'll follow behind and make sure you dont get sigged
  21. Good good. How many of yas?? Keep to the topic please. To those of such an impatient disposition. We were relegated on saturday. The board met monday night. Size of playing squad may have been decided but I doubt if the backroom staff issues have been discussed in detail yet so until its decided who will or wont be in a job then sorting out the season ticket issue is going to take a bit longer.

  24. SPL rules dictate that a player and his number must be registered. Hence the reason for squad numbers. the rule also dictates that the players name be on the shirt above the number. (SPL Rules B9.1 - B9.7) SFL Rule 66.7 states that the numbers of the first 11 starting in any given game shall be 1-11 with substitutes numbered consecutively. There is no rule on names but it would be financially unviable to put names on shirts for each match.
  25. I think he should have been given at least one chance in a match situation. Johnboy i completely agree with you. stick to your opinion, don't let anyone tell you different. alex as much as i agree with you most of the time, you are now telling someone to go away because they have a different opinion, you have always maintained that people have the right to their own opinion, however, you seem to be telling johnboy to go away due to his difference of opinion to yours. a bit hypocritical i think. Not because they have a different opinion. because I'm fed up having that one opinion rammed down my throat on every other thread.
