Rory McAllister v Garry Wood
How can anyone make judgement when Garry Wood has never started an SPL game. Perhaps he'll struggle just as much as Rory. What annoys me is that the lad gets no support whatsoever. Give him encouragement and he may react the right way. Rory gets two or three chances at the net and misses. I've seen Wyness miss twenty chances but score one and he's a hero. Rory's a young lad and will come good.

The Link in the Problems
Well you learn something new every day. And there was me thinking that our deal with Errea UK provided goods produced in their factory in Parma Italy. Are you perhaps getting mixed up with 'Errea Point' which is a network of specialised 'service centres' around the world, including one in Arad Romania. There are about five in UK. The purpose of this network, which is fully supported by Errea, is to provide a technical and complete service to sports clubs around the world providing such things as design help and other support, including arranging sponsorship etc.

Rory McAllister v Garry Wood
Theres a big difference in the pace of the game between reserves and first team. One thing that may held him this season is the extra reserve games that will be played. I believe they will be playing every week this season, which is one of the reasons CC is reluctant to put anyone out on loan. Wood was earmarked for Montrose but I think that will now not happen.

Tony Bullock
His past misdeameanour is behind him and should not be brought up in this forum. As for being better than Fraser, probably not. Fraser is good and can only get better. Bullock has probably reached his peak.

Home/Away Shirt Discussion [merged]
The training tops are Errea t-shirts with press on logo, probably from stock. The point I'm trying to make is, though talks were going on for about six weeks, the deal with Flybe wasn't finalised until June so orders couldn't be placed until then. Did you know, Errea sponsor some thirty clubs, six in UK and 24 in Italy, as well as Basketball, Volleyball and Rugby clubs.

Home/Away Shirt Discussion [merged]
I dont think the club can be blamed here. They are bound by contract and Errea supply a **** of a lot more clubs than ICT. The change of sponsor at such a late time is the major problem. I would assume that Flybe were made aware of the problems that would arise and I would expect that they would have no problem in us continuing with the OneTouch home top being used for a month. Looking at the opposition for away games in august we should be able to use the home top for those games so strip registration shouldn't be a problem. For the future I think the club needs to look at when and how they negotiate sponsorship deals so as to allow for the need to change kit.

Anyone fancy meeting up in the Innes on friday before the Rangers game for a couple of footballing, start of season lemonades and to toast the success of Inverness CT. Footballing and Inverness CT makes this topic eligible for this forum :023:

Agree with CaleyD. The International footballer criterea does not apply in this instant because the player is an EU National. The restricted access to Bulgarians and Romanians does apply though. Here's hoping Mr Savage can get it sorted soon.

Pre-season game @ Peterhead
I dont think its any setback or disappointment to get beaten by Peterheed. They've some pretty decent players on their books and I'm sure will be challenging for promotion this year. And don't forget, a few of them learned the ICT way.

Pre season opponents - Standard
I got the same info from the official ICT site. Theres always someone complaining about the lack of info from the club yet they never seem to look in the right place for the info.

Are You Happy With Our Summer?
Agree Scotty. Why does everyone harp on about only two signings. Truth is we signed seven. Five from the youths, who have all shown a great deal of promise. What does it do for their confidence if the fans refuse to acknowledge them.

Pre season opponents - Standard
The main bulk of the ICT pre-season budget went on the Italy trip, where we did play a couple of games against decent opposition. The reason, I believe, why we have not got a game against a bigger team, and why all our games are away, is to allow the ICT pitch to recover fully from being covered over with boards etc for Elton. Bear in mind also that we were invited to play in two testimonials and duly obliged so things had to be planned around that. I hope the players concerned managed to make a few quid out of it.

Team for Clach Match
I stand corrected then. However, at Elgin I'm the first team regulars had their squad numbers. i.e Bazz, Caff, Denzil etc.

Team for Clach Match
Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here but dont the squad players carry their squad number. If thats the case then Hastings was 16. No 4 is a spare number so was probably carried by one of the triallists. A couple of the papers have the Man U triallist as the penalty scorer but the official ICT site has Wood who's squad number is 22. Kerrs squad number is 26.

Marius Niculae Signs For ICT
Agree with that CD. My interpretation is that Blackie is saying what all the squad are probably thinking and that is: if we put in the work ethic, and with a big name player on board, we can show the board and the fans that we can all deliver and reap the rewards. I'm sure signings like Marius will boost the gate reciepts, get us higher up the table and better cup runs and, ultimately, boost the funds available to reward all those who put in the effort. Every player at this club knows that, if they were somewhere else, there will be big differences the earnings of each individual. They also know that the higher earners have to justify what they get and work harder to maintain their place in the team.

Marius Niculae Signs For ICT
He's not on £4k. Thats what he asked for initially but when he realised the club couldn't make that he agreed a much less figure. His salary is in line with the other top earners at the club though he is being topped up by sponsorship. Apparantly the suns unrest in the camp story is a load of sh!te. Most players will realise that if they can develop to the same potential their earnings will be boosted. So what Marius is getting should be incentive to others. Incidently he will be the first Romanian to play for a Scottish team. Prodan never got a game, nor even a shot of the bench, at Rangers.
