  1. The setback is that we need to lose a midfielder to bring in another defender.

  4. .........or ?2000 a week.
  5. Courtesy of the Highland News Is Nessie new ICT striker's other goal? By Donald Wilson Published: 18 August, 2007 A ROMANIAN football website is suggesting Caley Thistle?s new star Romanian international Marius Niculae could spend his spare time Nessie-hunting. Hundreds of diehard supporters have been logging on to a link from the club site to a Romanian one but have been left scratching their heads wondering what it?s all about ? especially as there?s a prominent picture of Nessie. Now the Highland News has had it translated for our readers. The article says in his spare time Marius might try to succeed where millions of tourist have failed ? locating the elusive Nessie ?the famous monster of Loch Ness?. Slightly less flattering perhaps is a reference to Inverness Caley Thistle as ?the illustrious nobody? of Scottish football. The story also confirms the 26 year-old striker could be setting his sights on ultimately playing in the English Premiership. Caley Thistle?s director of football Graeme Bennett made no secret of the fact when the club signed international that it could probably be simply a stepping stone for Niculae. For the benefit of the fans, the HN has arranged this translation of the article on Marius: ?Niculae refused the Turks from Bursaspor and chose Scotland, which has the toughest championship in the whole Europe. ?The former judoka will not join Celtic or Rangers, but the illustrious nobody, Inverness Caledonian. ?The Scottish club is younger than Niculae. It was founded in 1994, when the Romanian was already 13 years old. In 2004, Inverness moved into the Premier League of Scotland, and, at the beginning of this year, the management of the team had announced that they would recruit Hagi and Gica Popescu among its scouters. They were not successful. They were not successful, but they managed to bring Niculae, who will earn EUR 450,000 per season. ?'There is no shame in playing in Scotland at a small team. If I score there, I could end up at the Celtic or Rangers. I would actually like to end up in England after Inverness, because I like that championship very much. If I score 10- 15 goals, I move to the (England) Premier League,? stated Marius Niculae. ?Declared enemy of Steaua Bucharest, the ex-Dinamo goal getter will have to wear the red-blue colours. ?The transfer to Inverness is an adventure for Niculae. In his spare time, the Romanian could try what millions of tourists never succeeded: find Nessie, the famous monster of Loch Ness, the lake which is only two kilometres away from the stadium Niculae will be playing at.? Despite what the website says, Niculae?s wages are believed to be in the region of ?200,000 (300,000 euros).
  6. I read those words as well Johndo..........in an HSE report on stress management.
  7. Jesu' Johndo, I feel very sorry for your clients if they are subjected to any of your quotes :003:
  8. I actually believe that would be Charlie Christie's way. He has ICT at heart and does not want to tie them into a position whereby, if he fails, they have to 'let him go' with compensation etc. CC will not stay if he cannot achieve the high standards and goals he sets for himself so he is making sure that when they do find the time its on the right footing. Bear also in mind that it may be Grazza who hasn't the time, after all he's doing his job of flying around the world trying to do deals with players. With searching and signing and the day to day running of the team time is probably of the essence.

Are you referring to the new away top or the special edition top.

A little bit of Rosscoe in our lives A little bit of Wilson down the sides A little bit of Rankins wot we need A little bit of Black with all his speed A little bit of Granty in defence A little bit of Ikey he's imense. A little bit of singin from the fans A little bit of Marius hes our man !!!
  15. Well done Rory. Obviously someone sees more in you than some of the ICT fans do. And, in case it has been missed by most, a big well done to Dale Gillespie, Jamie Duff and Stuart Leslie who are all included in Scotland U-19 training camp at Stirling this week.
  16. I think the main problem this year was Elton and the work that was carried out on the pitch to improve drainage. Otherwise we likely would have invited a bigger team up.
  17. I'm offshore :019: but will deffo be in the Innes for DU
  18. Looking at the photo in the sunday mail I dont believe there was contact. I also believe Ikey was in the right place. Had Grant not made the tackle the angle for the shot was going to be very tight so the keeper on the post is the best position.

Tune: Living next door to Alice We know that you've left us Though why we do not know Guess you had your reason But now we've got Deano So for ninety odd minutes We'll be taking the p!ss oot o' Dargo Ninety odd minutes just waiting for a chance When ere he's on the ball He will hear the whole stand chant So for ninety odd minutes We'll be taking the p!ss oot o Dargo Dargo!! Dargo!! Who the **** is Dargo
  20. My guess, and its only a guess is that the armband was troubling Grant so he took it off and threw it towards Fraser, not at him, possibly for safe keeping. As for Rossco, one of the things he and Barry do well is overlap, where Rossco makes the run and Barry covers. Unfortunatley it doesn't seem to be working with any of the other mids on the right side. Switching positions can, and does, confuse the opposition but everyone has to be aware of it happening to provide the cover. One of the plus points for me is that we did play some good football on saturday and didn't sit way deep. Defence was coming out as a unit which is reflected in M'Well being caught offside on sixteen occassions. Caff, in especial, needs to build some confidence and play the ball instead of humping it up the field. Hopefully that will come soon
  21. Is there not a danger that some of the contributors on here could become traumatised and finish up as serial killers if they have to read another final word on the subject? :001:
