Everyone I know who has had covid has been double vaxed, although none of them ended up in hospital, it does make you wonder - if you can still catch it then you can still pass it on - what good is this passport? What does it prove? It seems like another waste of resources just to give some people a sense of security. The fear is taking over.

Doran was sh1t anyway. Final ball has been awful, judging by the number of balls in the stand pre match the shooting practice was cancelled after last week's bonanza. Tough watch so far.

Surely such a rich forward thinking independent nation wouldn't need to borrow to support the hospitality sector... I dread to think what rating we would have in the international money market, we'd be mired in debt forever and a day. Face coverings are only useful with enforcement, when everyone abides by the rule. Lack of enforcement on public transport is an absolute sham, and along with the relaxed attitudes in pubs & bars it's a bit rich that these are the ones who come crying first when their profits are hit.

I see the FM is going to whitehall with the begging bowl again due to effect of Omicron on the hospitality sector. Perhaps after this latest surge passes we can expect to remove the masks for good in the new year.

It was a beautiful late summer/early autumn week for the surveying I was doing across the far north of Scotland. Various speculative and contradictory news reports began to emerge and over the next few hours work took a back seat as the details began to become clearer. The world changed that day,for sure, and as shocking as it was, over the years as the story has unfolded it seems that not only was the atrocity almost inevitable (and perversely avoidable) it could have been much worse. Saddening to see that in the years since ,we ( US,UK etc) have continued to meddle in foreign matters and create the next generation of loonies.

Staying,or trying to stay top is blatantly obvious... What Yngwies' post illustrates is the challenge to do that with the possibility of missing several key players at the first positive test. Our squad is pretty thin and tends to struggle with only one or two absentees.

I'm surprised at how a squeaky one nil at home to a poor Kilmarnock shower seemed to make folk forget the limp run we're on. Our form reads as it is, consistently poor.

I don't think ambition had much to do with that, very solid defensive shape, full backs not overlapping. This was a team trying to keep it tight and work the occasional opportunity. Not giving away any silly/easy goals is a refreshing change. Obvious to see how much our calamitous defensive displays have contributed to Kilmarnock getting to the top of the league,rather,than,their,own scintillating ,football.

A chink of light from the club with this idea, only for the darkness to return with banishment to section A or the West terrace... The sparsely populated north stand needs a vocal(focal) point in the heart of it, smack bang in the middle. Drums,big flags etc etc

I wouldnt put it like that, but this service has been brought in temporarily due to the pandemic when attendances were restricted or completely out of the question. The situation has changed, with most people except the extremely vulnerable able to attend as before. Where you live is entirely up to you I'd guess, but if you want to keep the live streaming on that basis then that's another kettle of fish.

The sooner the livestreams bite the dust the better, gone on too long now, with most restrictions gone there is no need for this anymore.

At least we didn't have to play Afghanistan again, that was a real drubbing. Yes the Indians are good, but we got ourselves out to decent balls through terrible shot selection. That's scoreboard pressure when we can't take singles.

New Zealand were in 3rd gear against us. Another (self)destruction against India today. Ability levels not as high as the as the full test playing nations be expected but mentally pretty inept as well. Shouldve looked to take more singles rather than play into India's hands and commit to boundary strokes when the pressure is on the batter not bowler. Simple run chase follows.
