County have always had a big squad, but if it wasn't for one player - Liam Boyce, they would have got relegated before us. But still they persist with numbers.

Same money, split more ways for placings and for tv coverage.

Well, apart from receiving less money from league placing and tv deal, that's pretty close to it.

Whilst players moving from county to us generally became valued first team players who improved themselves, our club and sometimes moved onto bigger things - the players moving in the opposite direction haven't necessarily become first team regulars or stand out performers by any means. This underlines county's signing policy is part uncle Roy putting his hand in his pockets to weaken us and also a laziness of their scouting network, ie signing players who are local and roughly what they are looking for rather than working hard to find the right player...although if you are wallowing in cash it's not really that important, you just keep turning them over.

We've had some real naff away kits over the years using the clubs historic colours - and they've sold pretty well. It's a refreshing change with the kicker of a good cause benefiting from the sales. Linking to the cancer charity explains the colour - so many similar events have pink themes for this reason, I can't understand the confusion. Is there an anti pink lobby, or would brown be preferable?

Now have two good looking strips ready for the season, just need the right talent to wear them now.

I'm praying that Robbo, Ross & Scot have got a good list drawn up, with a couple of key signings and the right financial package to back it up.

Our defence ,arguably or not the best last season didnt get us close to united. The championship isn't won with best defences , it's the Shanklands or Mackays that rattle the goals in that win this league. Maybe Shane can give us something we've badly lacked for years - someone who can convert the multitude of chances we created. Tired of the tat we've had up front recently. Brothels and fistfuls of tenners springs to mind.

I can't lie, I hope he does what Draper,Mackay, & Vigurs did...relegate them! No hard feelings of course, at least he'll still be spending big Roy's bucks in the big city along with some of the other traitors.

Hopefully all this can finally be put to rest now, no more of this 'reconstruction for the benefit of all ' nonsense. It's not the authorities fault we are where we are, if we had a few more committed supporters week in week out we could have easily challenged harder in the last 3 years, with the extra resources. Looks good...on footballers. Puma strips or 'technical kit' as geeks like to say is quite 'fitted' I think... Not the best for those carrying a bit of extra timber,time to whittle down to those fighting weights.
