  1. Wow. Lose our next 2 games and we are in hot bother
  2. Yeah I thought initially that would be the case too, it just seems very odd that our tactics remain largely the same as under dodds. Looking at QP, and to be honest any other team in the cship no matter which position in the league they are in, they take spells where they quickly 1 or 2 pass their way into a scoring opportunity and as in yesterday's case, take the opportunity. We however, seem happy to pass the ball to death across the park and backwards until we get dispossessed. Obviously not every week as was evident against raith but worryingly most weeks even with these new players. Harper for one seems incapable of running at the opposing defence in any way shape or form and prefers the safe pass, but to be honest they are guilty of dithering
  3. I can never understand why more fans don't direct the criticism at the one person who's been at the club longer than the last 4 or 5 managers and who is clearly behind the on field tactics, Scott Kellacher. No team ever changes manager and assistant but keeps the same coaching staff. It's just bonkers that he's still on the training field with the players when clearly this tippy tappy passing across the face of goal dosent work. Until we address what the players are being told to do midweek by the coaching staff and yes I include DF in that too, we are going to continue to struggle. Not once did we look like creating a good enough chance to result in a goal yesterday, far too slow and ponderous and simply no real awareness or quality from anyone in front of goal
  4. Watching it back there on the highlights I think it took longer to trundle in than it did to actually get to that point
  5. It is with a heavy heart that I can confirm a good friend and a lifelong ICT Supporter John Wilson known on here as Jaggernaut died on Saturday night. His analysis on the games was always fair balanced and interesting and I personally had a good few discussions with him after results good and bad. R.I.P John and thoughts and prayers with his family at this difficult time
  6. Be good if we can get the 3 points and others in the middle of the park drop points so we can start climbing the table again soon. Not really bothered at this stage what the top 4 currently do we just need to chase safety
  7. Totally 100% agree, jobs for the boys contracts on a rolling year basis and now it's coming back to bite us. Time for a clear out, no loyalty ties required
  8. Someone posted on p&b at half 6 saying they seen brown in Aberdeen train station heading to north platform, train got in at 830 and my mates son was in town and seen Gardiner in Academy street fulled suited and booted.

  10. I believe his wife has a family member on the board so that explains that
  11. Well, that's your opinion. I said my post was my OWN
  12. Evidently your one of the "I see no problem" Happy clapping brigade, who simply say "never mind we'll win next week..... No next..... OK next week...."
  13. I and a few friends have believed for a while that this has been the aim of the club over the last few years, to basically wear it down gradually until we're able to revert to part time, and then the big costs and hassles dramatically reduce for the board. Doing it on a gradual basis also allows them to not lose the fan base completely but to end up with say 750+ hard core fans happy to pop along on a Saturday afternoon for a non pressure League one game. They have no interest in getting us back into the premiership, and that has been clearly evident the last few years where we either go on an early, mid or late season bad or good run. They will see it as a success losing the first 4 and then getting things changed to get a few points on the board between now and October just enough to keep the fans on board. The big problem I think they have with that and all this is purely my own opinion, is that the players are starting to waken up to the inconsistent coaching and tactics and probably have enough inside knowledge now to suspect that the club has its alterior motives. I know now why they gave Dodds a new 2 year contract and not get in a new manager.... No other manager with any self morales would allow a club to dictate to him what results he's allowed to achieve and when to back off
  14. The fact he said in his post match interview that he thought we started really well, tells me everything about his state of mind and complete and utter ineptitude, and that's me being kind. What did we do in the first 30 seconds before the goal that was so good
  15. Omg you poor deluded individual
  16. Samuels is hopeless and needs to be dropped immediately! Worst supposed forward ever
  17. Thought positives of this were Doran looking more like the Doran of old, Lewis Nicholson looking like a real potential for the season, Davidson and Gilmour looking like they have slotted right into the starting 11. It was a tough day weather wise and I imagine the pitch was horrid to play on however Brooks was a bit of a disappointment and Samuel's looked pacey enough but seems to lack confidence and composure. Cammy in goal was OK but his distribution is poor and very nearly resulted in embarrassment. Plenty opportunity to put game out of sight at 2-0 but for some great saves, but felt we then invited pressure on ourselves for the goal and then looked on the ropes for the remaining few minutes. All in all a good result but clearly work to do
  18. Kyle Turner along with Kevin Holt and Doherty have all left Partick, Turner could be a good replacement for Allardice?
