I know I've banged on about needing a "sugar daddy" in the past, maybe not so much so now because we seem to be doing ok without one! But I am 100% in favour of Alan Savage being part of "A Highland Consortium" that takes control of the club because, firstly they'll have the club at heart and won't ruin it like certain previous chairmen and a crook of a CEO did! And importantly, it means that we can continue going down the road on terms of transfers, as we have in the past where we don't pay fees for players and instead look at the free agent and loan market. We've discovered in the past that there ARE good players available even on loan or pre contract agreements so tbh I don't see the reason to change that if it's served us well in the past . Again, I know I've said it previously that we could work on the 8-8-8 formula that Charlie Christie seems keen on so when have I become more balanced in my posts and even had a go at my own previous comments . I think its because I'm getting older maybe . -

Supporters Trust: Updates to Members
CaleyTennis85 replied to ICT Supporters Trust's topic in Caley Thistle
That seems a very positive update with the key points below making me very optimistic of our future and possibly future success : It's good that we should be able to stay full time if we stay up, that makes it very easy to attract players be it transfers or loans. : It is very encouraging that there is going to be an emphasis on developing our youngsters so we get fees for them, it seems Charlie is a big advocate for youngsters getting game time because it's not the first time he's mentioned that. Though it's gone from the 8-8-8 formula to only 3-4 getting into the first team, surely it would be better to try and develop a few more so that we aren't filling our squad with loanees . Am I being too harsh here regarding the loanees, if so then pick me up on it . : 22-23 squad seems reasonable for next season but if injuries and suspensions occur then we are in trouble . I suppose it's easier with a small squad though as it saves us in terms of finances as we aren't paying for a massive squad in terms of wages etc plus it makes it easier to keep everyone happy as most will be in matchday squads with only a handful not making matchday squads. -

I was just going to ask @Charles Bannerman if he has any idea when we might get an announcement on the latest info press conference from the administrator bloke because I also recalled end of January, into February being the date they hoped to be able to be in a position to have found a preferred bidder etc. Weirdly enough, especially when fans know how impatient I can be (), I am actually not as impatient as you sound @big cherly because I have the added distraction of the 6 Nations all throughout February going into the start of March so I'll be too engrossed in that , I will keep updated on our scores through Twitter etc and commenting on the Facebook post once I get a minute after Scotland matches or at half time of the games kicking off at 1645. -

This may sound rich coming from me so feel free to call me out as long as it's respectful but anyone questioning the management really need their heads examined because Kells has been our best manager in a very long time so really should be backed by us even after results like yesterday and I for one am going to give him the benefit of the doubt too . I think he knows as well as we do that yes we are probably in desperate need of reinforcements but, unless Alan Savage backs him then these signings will be few and far between so we have to accept that! Anyway, it's good to see youngsters such as Robbie Thompson and Ben Gardiner (to name only 2) get more opportunities than they got under the previous manager . 2025 is a new year so let's hope it's a successful one for us . Happy New Year to fellow fans for Wednesday morning, it's a privilege being part of this forum even when we disagree with each others opinions etc , I wouldn't want to be a member of any other forum and tbh that's compliments to the mods etc .

We need to beat Cove after that utterly pathetic decision in the cup game . Performances/Results have been fantastic under Scott Kellacher so we should remain optimistic .

One question I have is, aren't we under a transfer embargo after going into administration or did we manage to avoid that one ? Second thing is, yes please to Alan Savage leading a consort to take the club forward, I think nearly all of, if not all of our support would get behind that because he certainly has this club in his heart and certainly wouldn't be as incompetent as previous board members etc!! STV saying he doesn't expect to get out of administration before end of February though which is slightly worrying, or am I once again reading to much into this and unnecessarily worrying ? -

No need for the cry emoji @Gringo because I had a feeling I'd do terrible this week and tbh I'm glad I did especially after the manner of the comeback plus I'm still ecstatic after that win and Warriors winning 38-19 v Sale Sharks . Hey @Robert at least you are way ahead of me and poor @big cherly, I have always been poor at predictions though so I'm fine with how I'm performing .

I was just wondering where Scott Kellacher ranks in terms of our best managers because I put up on the Facebook post of yesterday's FT result that he must already be right up there with Terry Butcher and John Hughes this early in his managerial career ? I think unarguably, if we miraculously gain automatic safety then he will become our BEST EVER manager ahead of Tel and Yogi because that achievement would be far surpass the achievement of winning the Scottish Cup and reaching the league cup final!! I already really like Kells and will 100% back him as much as I unanimously back both Steve Clarke and Gregor Townsend .
