You're bang on doofer, please correct me if i'm wrong but I think we "set the bar" at a level around what we paid for him by saying something silly along the lines of we must get our money back at least. If we had initially said you want Rankin, who's an established premier league player, he will cost you ?220k. Who's to say we would not have settled for 150K? One could certainly argue this was not a clever piece of business. I cringed when I heard our "opening " remarks when buyers were first looking.

Oh dear we're back here again. Personally I think it's time we picked on some of the other imposters in the team and leave our old friend Rosco alone this week, any takers? At least he tries to get forward more than others, that's for sure. Ok he's not perfect does make some mistakes, but that's why they put rubbers on the end of pencils. His performances generaly, in my opinion, are still good. And when he goes forward others can see and cover it, that's what being in a team "team" is about. I'll do you a deal, as I like to think I'm an honest man, when I think Rosco has stopped performing I'll be the first to let you know. In the meantime, he can be our new centre forward AKA Lee Wilkie!

His performance today raised no concerns with me.

I was slightly surprised he didn't play on Sat, although we never really know what's going on behind the scenes. One would have thought, however, that it would have been in everyones interests for him to play on Sat, the club the player and not least the team?

This is a chap when we were in the 3rd division people said there's no way he'll be any good in the 2nd. The same people, including me, said there's no way he'll ever be 1st div standard and then when we reached the premier league he....well the rest is history. I rest my case

If I recall, Mark Brown saved a pen in a shoot out at home in a cup game when were were in the 1st div a few years ago? We won the shoot out. I could be wrong?

He's a good player and possibly still to realise his full potential, but I do get the impression he is not fully committed to our wonderful club.

Good morning all and a very good New Year to you. I was slighlty concerned reading this post until Harry's remarks. Rossco is not a player who concerns me, I think his performances have been just fine. The old problem being when defender makes mistakes.........

Yes some interesting points indeed. In my mind the key is effective advertising, I haven't seen any and as far as Iam aware the club is not, or has not, addressed the "lets get a bigger crowd issue" certainly to my satisfaction, or even at all? I am sure there is someone out there who could think up a clever idea to sell another 500 season tickets. It's hardly rocket science.

Well if we can't get more coming through the gates now on a Sat we'll never do it!! All this winning, attractive football, many local not coming on down, should be ashmed of themselves I say. I for one will be encouraging friends and others to come along for sure, have they any idea what they're missing? An opportune time for the Club to start waving the banner too.....

Get him back in the team as centre forward I'd say, he's the only defender that knows the direction to the opposition goal, show Lee Wilkie how its done. And he should be in the team because he is Ross Tokely!
