To me there have been some great supporters at this world cup - the Tartan Army and the Norwegian supporters were the best. The England supporters now have a chance to write 'Came 3rd' or '4th' on the thousands of replica winners trophies they waved at matches. The Golden Boot could go to a French or English player.
With regard to the contentious decisions for most teams in the 2026 Tournament, probably the biggest ever in the history of the world cup was:
''Whether Geoff Hurst's famous "ghost goal" crossed the line in the 1966 World Cup Final remains football's most enduring controversy, but most scientific, frame-by-frame film analyses conclude that the ball did not fully cross the goal line.''

Good to see Billy Dodds knows all the facts before he writes them! Apparently we are still in the Scottish Cup

I would prefer the win than the draw he has us down for.
Apologies if you tried the link before and it took you to Harry Hill! I'm a muppet!
