Just a thought ... SFL games tend to clash with international weekends. I believe Butcher is genuinely committed to stay, but will he have to decide between his roles with Scotland and Caley Thistle or is it acceptable for the occasiuonal game to be taken by Malpas alone?

Nah they don't really.. The first division at least always have them off when Scotland are playing.

Yeah, usually the spl, div 1 + 2 have a week off during internationals. i'm sure division 3 sometimes play tho. Not that that effects anything

But would Butcher, as a manager in the SPL, not be in a great position to double up his roles - when we play other sides he can run the rule over potential internationals - when he took in other games he could spy for us and for the country - He aint going to do that next season.
