far be it from me to throw a cat among the pigeons but does anyone know when grant is due a testamonial as by my reckoning he has been at the club going on 13 years now and im near certain the after Roy Russel is due one(Sure it was in his last contract extension??? )

I believe Grant will have his testimonial next season. Russel Duncan joined at the start of 01/02 so he should have his the following season. Hopefully neither of them will be struck by the curse that has affected Wilson, Hastings and McBain in their testimonial seasons.

very true... i remembered it being a part of Russels last extension but it seems to have been very quiet re Grant and if im right he was actually on the Bench "that Night" was he not?

If I remember correctly his debut was in the Scottish Cup v. Livi in 1999? Along with a couple of other young players of the time, possibly David Hinds and Andrew Allan?!

2nd January 1999, Grant came on as a late sub for Duncan Shearer. David Craig also came off the bench for his debut. Andrew Allan played (and arguably cost us a goal and the game) but had a few appearances before then.
