We just got a mention in the middle of an international match between Spain and Uruguay.

 

The commentator got in a bit of a fankle.  On Saturday, you can watch Inverness against Caledonian Thistle"...... ............elongated our involvement during the game though.  We have made it officially.

Game was on here in Doha tonight but didn't get along to it as had a more important appointment on the golf course :-))

It was billed as the SA champions v European champions challenge match - was there a decent crowd?

Not a bad crowd. I watched it on the T V. Spain are too fast, too clinical and too accurate in their passing so the other team has a hard time getting possession. Frankly it's too lop-sided and boring.

 

It's basically a masterclass in control and passing but it lacks enough passion...go figure.

Shockingly the same issues as were experienced at the Asian Cup Final with respect to access (or non access) to the ground with valid tickets is being reported on blog sites. 2022 is going to be memorable but I suspect it will not be for the football.
