To me there have been some great supporters at this world cup - the Tartan Army and the Norwegian supporters were the best. The England supporters now have a chance to write 'Came 3rd' or '4th' on the thousands of replica winners trophies they waved at matches. The Golden Boot could go to a French or English player.
With regard to the contentious decisions for most teams in the 2026 Tournament, probably the biggest ever in the history of the world cup was:

still in 3rd place, in defiance of the SPL. You have come as proud fans,
and proud fans you are but do you have enough fight for 2 last battles,
You may lie in your beds many years from now wishing you had done more
to help our team into Europe, would you be willing to trade all those days
from that day till now for the chance, the chance to say you did all that you could
to support the team to the best of your ability for 2 final games,
