Yes it could be an IX and not a XI - Does that give some players an opportunity to stake a place and improve our level of performance. The pitch also looked horrendous against Hibs and dare I say it, could favour the hoof.

How Foran will play it :

OFW

Raven  Draper  McCart  Tremarco

King  Tansey Cole Mulraney

Mckay  Anier

How I would play it:

OFW

Raven  Draper  McCart  Tremarco

King  Polworth Cole

Anier

Mckay  Fisher

How IHE would play it:

Calder

Raven  Milroy  McCart Tremarco

King Polworth  Anier Bingham

Urquhart  Mckay

If Fisher plays for the club again, surely he has to start over Anier. Anier and Mckay are too similar IMO.

As this is the closest thing we have to a match preview thread......

My revised starting XI:

OFW

Raven Laing McCart Tremarco

Draper Tansey

Doran Polworth Cole

MacKay

central defence is a risk whatever we go with and better to go with Draper in a holding role. Tansey is better in a deep role partnered by Draper and the centre halves will need plenty of protection. Our best performance of the season against Dundee had Polworth in CAM. Doran and Cole offer pace and trickery to set MacKay away.

attempt to correct Billy's surname spelling!

Mackay is on loan at Elgin....and putting a keeper up front is a bold move.

Sorted....I think! Can never quite remember whether Billy is McKay, Mackay, MacKay, despite the constant reminders during his first spell with us. Brad's arrival has only befuddled me further, let alone Cammy!

They are as follows.....

Billy Mckay....W. Mckay on shirt

Brad Mckay....Mckay on shirt

Cammy Mackay

Not a capital K in sight
