sloop john B

sloop john B was sung by pretty much everyone in th singing section on saturday. it was th most sung song on th day and i think we made quite abit of noise when singing it. also everyone knew th wrds which is a major factor when it comes to us n songs :016: i personally would go for it and see how it went for afew games. if it still had th same popularity after a month or 2 we should defo consider it.

should sloop john B be our club anthem? 44 members have voted

if its more rousing than the view you should go for it :002:

On saturday it pretty much seemed our unofficial anthem.  As much as I loved singing it, I seriously don't think that it would be sung too much if we were to continue using it for a few seasons.  However, it is far more pleasing on the ears than "CALEY" clap clap clap!!!!

it is it was an instant succes at the singing section and it wil be sung at love street this saturday aswell

the view are a bunch of little schemey faggots!  arab4ever if you had ever met any of them you would soon be put off them. they are  unintelligable wee junkie dryburgh minks!

Their music is also mince.

Bit harsh there kk, for "wee junkie Dryburgh minks" they have put in a huge amount of effort and endeavour to drag themselves out of obscurity without any silver spoons in their mouths or years of university education to get them up the ladder, whether you like their music or not is personal choice but over 200 gigs in a year is some work rate to get from the Raigmore motel to the Jonathon Ross show.....Hats off to the buskers!!

I don't think the song will catch on, I mean - I wanna go home, this is the worst trip I have ever been on.

For away games it could work, but not really for home games.  As much as it was nice to hear, I don't like that particular song and the relevance.

As for The View, arseholes the lot of them.  They might have had it harsh, but by golly they are the most arrogant performers I have ever met, even more arrogant then that annoying Keyboardist from The Automatic, and that is going something.

Seemed pretty relevant while singing in the rain; or when we are getting beat(quite often)!!!  However, I know what you are saying about the "trip" part.
