Watched the Hibs v Gers game on telly. When did JR learn to cross like that, or was he played in the wrong position in his time with us?

I thought he was pretty ineffective for Hibs.  He took about twenty minutes to get a kick at the ball.  Showed his inadequacy when through on goal, no pace and no right foot.  His corners were as much use as they were when playing for us.  He disappeared for the first half hour but had a better last hour, but not good enough for the money paid.

He has just scored for Hibs with his right foot from the edge of the box.  He hit a ball on the turn and his volley bounced in front of the United keeper and over his outstretched hands into the bottom corner.  Keepers mistake really, but at least Rankin put the ball on target.  1-1 at the moment, that goal was less than 30 seconds into the second half.

Played really against DUFC today.....

He was invisible for large spells of the game. There was 1 good cross, a speculative shot that the keeper made a mess of, and a yellow card. He can do better than that.
