C*unty thrown out of top level Youth Inititative!!!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/s...v_1/7491711.stm

A bit harsh on all 3 teams involved IMO, especially as it appears to have been no more than an administrative issue for everyone.  At the end of the day it's unlikely the teams will suffer greatly but it could make all the difference to the youngsters involved, especially if, as stated, we see a teams entire youth system ending up being scraped as a result.

What I find so strange is that the SFA felt the need to call a meeting of the emergency committee to rush the decision through instead of bringing it to the attention of the clubs and allowing them the time to rectify the matter.

Ther's obviously some unknown underlying (probably financial) reason for using this massive sledgehammer to crack an affy wee nut, could have all been resolved,i'm sure, with a phone call if the will had been there to do so.Shame on those making these decisions. :rotflmao:
