  1. Spot on Scarlet me old pal! It is nothing more than entertainment. And sadly nowadays, the masses demand only the best. Watching football now involves attaching oneself to a top-tier team from some country or other and sitting in front of the telly watching highly-skilled multi-millionaires exhibiting their abilities on Sky. The attachment is seldom geographical - maybe one likes the name, maybe it's a team that usually wins, or perhaps one is drawn to a star player. The financial gap between the top teams and your local team is ever widening and so long as people choose to pump their money into rich football teams with no geographical relevance and Sky Sports, I can't really see the situation changing. Football, as a spectator sport has evolved from the tribal affair it used to be, to a 5-star exhibition of riches and skills that we, supporters of our local team, could never realistically aspire to.
  2. No idea why folk keep obsessing over whether the match is all ticket. When was the last time you attended a SC tie in the early rounds involving ICT that was all ticket?
  3. 1 point
12 seconds in and Daniel Mackay opens the scoring. 1. It's a screamer from Daniel Mackay as he unleashes a strike from about 25 yards which goes in off the bar! 1-0 5. A dangerous cross from Roddy Kennedy has to be turned behind for a corner. 10. Ross Gunn's cross is knocked into the path of Roddy MacGregor who finishes low past Smith. 2-0 15. Scare as Irvine drops a cross but it's hooked off the line by Harper. 20. Daniel Mackay races clear with a great burst of pace to slot it in and make it 3-0. 23. Mimnaugh shot goes wide. 29. Mimnaugh and Slaven try to create a Chance, but ICT clear and come close to a 4th at the other end. Harper's cross is close to connecting with the Roddy Kennedy at the back-post but it's just out of reach for him. 36. Goal Accies 1-3 at ICT as Charlie Reilly breaks into the box and fires home a good shot from 16 yards, and a second three minutes later. 39. 2-3 at ICT as Andrew Winter does well to ease past his marker and blast home. Half Time 3-2 ICTFC Sub: Matheus Machado on, Roddy Kennedy off. 55. great shot by Mimnaugh comes back off keeper, Joseph tries the rebound but offside flag goes up. ICTFC Sub: Donald Morrison on, Ross Gunn off. 78. Great run from Jack Brown and he wins a corner for his efforts. ICTFC Sub: Daniel Mackay off, Shane Harkness on. 82. Chance for Donald Morrison at the back-post but his effort is straight at Smith. Full Time 3-2 Inverness see out the game to book their place in the fourth round at home against Celtic.
