I would estimate about 2-3k. I bought a 1973 Ford Capri in 1976 for £1100 which I think was just over 2k new.

It is with a heavy heart that I can confirm a good friend and a lifelong ICT Supporter John Wilson known on here as Jaggernaut died on Saturday night. His analysis on the games was always fair balanced and interesting and I personally had a good few discussions with him after results good and bad.
