  2. Some character Yogi! got the impression he would have talked all night! Moff was an excellent compare, even managed a few laughs from his jokes! 😅 and well backed up by George. A great turnout by fans and were treated to a night of quizzes, chat and stories from Yogi and the players! The banter between Aaron, Kell and Yogi made me laugh.. really good crack! The penalty score/no score was tricky but Riley got lucky! I was at the Highland rugby match today and, like ICT came from behind for a great win! Well happy!
  3. Disney Time Again Yes it's that time again. Disney time. Disney matter if we win or lose to be honest. The Cup we all love to hate, or is it hate to love. The KDM Trophy fixtures are back and it's game five of six in the qualifying group stage with only eight teams dropping out after this stage. Those positions are occupied by 'B' Teams. Forfar Athletic are the hosts and they are one of the better placed teams only three points of the pace. For Inverness, it will be an opportunity for some of the defenders to redeem themselves after a less than impressive display last weekend against Hamilton, gifting goals like they were going out of fashion. The Caley Jags last two fixtures before the knockout stages commence with the introduction of the Premiership big boys are this one at Forfar and Dundee United B come North next month on the 11th November. the Game at Forfar kicks off at 3:00pm on Saturday 11th October. They have beaten Dons B, Hibs B and Dundee B in the KDM and their only defeat was to League1 Montrose by 1-0. Heaviest defeat was a 5-0 drubbing by East Kilbride in a League2 game at the end of August. Our team from last weekends defeat at Broadwood Stadium. It wasn't a defensive masterclass, however, just the two defeats in the League so far and none in the KDM Trophy. Maybe freshen up the defence and get Ross Millen, Mathew Strachan and Mitchell Robertson on from the start. The Manager of the Month award curse eventually caught up with us at Broadwood as Scott Kellacher won the award for the second consecutive Month having gone through September with a 100% record. Unfortunately we went to play Hamilton Accies in October and suffered badly from the curse. Hopefully the weather is better this weekend and we can get back to playing football the way it should be played. 4. By "they" you are meaning one guy yeah? One man (who doesn't even sit on the committee) doesn't represent the whole Club! I was annoyed that AVFTT made it seem that he was involved with the club, but then maybe he never sepcified either. The new Inverness Thistle FC committee are largely made up of people who weren't involved in the original club and some former supporters. The Club have frequently stated that they're not a continuation of the original club but instead are a new club who wish to respect the identity of the old. They are also on record wishing ICT the best. Again, one embittered fan doesn't represent a whole club!! And you know what, I've actually been rather impressed at how professional they have been working behind the scenes. It really puts the likes of Morrison and Gardiner to further shame. ITFC have a clear strategy in place for the playing team going forward but also a mission plan for how they wish to serve the community in a positive way. Surely the fact their existence allows for more young boys to aspire to a higher level of local football is a good thing? They are also hoping to create a football training programme for kids with ASN. So, Fair play to them. I wish them every success! Also, I've been over to watch a couple games and was amazed at the level of support - there was a crowd of over 200 both times! Instead of castigating them, maybe ICT fans should actually be asking, what have we done wrong the past 31 years that 200 folk would rather follow this new team? What have we done to serve the community? Food for thought
