Polworth dropped?!!? I hope this one doesn't backfire but that's a strange move.

Having just seen a replay of the 1st Motherwell goal I can safely say that anyone blaming OFW needs a brain examination.

Make no mistake about it. If we dont beat County then there's a real chance we're going down this season. Our current run of form and general performances are the worst in years (form potentially ever). I really want Richie to succeed but serious question marks need to start to be asked about selection, tactics and preperation as we are shambolic. If you look back to earlier in the season our best results came with a midfield of Tansey, Draper, Polworth, King and either Mulraney or Doran. We need to get back to this and golden boy Vigurs needs dropped for a game as well as Cole. Even the subs today were odd to the say the least, we just look rudderless. Fingers crossed Richie and the boys can pull it out on Saturday but these are worrying times.

After a couple of shoddy performances it sounds like the boys put in a great shift today. Fingers crossed we transfer this to our next couple of games and pick up 4-6 points. Well done to all of the away fans who travelled to Glasgow. Hop you all got home safe and sound & merry Xmas.

0-1 at half time. By all accounts on another day we could be 3 or 4-1 up. Need to start taking our chances.

Oh dear 0-1. Sounds like there was a suspicion that OFW could have done better. At least there's plenty of time to get back into it.

Err, I have this thing called a phone where people at the game can update me. I also have my own eyes and those two have been rank pretty much everytime they've played together.

Chronically bad. Few players not pulling their weight - looking at you two Tansey and Vigurs. Defence rightly getting lambasted however the problems stem from a lack of cover in front of them. Only so much you can do if players are allowed to constantly break on you. Looking like 1 win in 9 and 4 bad defeats in a row. Alarm bells starting to sound yet?

Shocking. Only 3 league wins so far this season. Not at all impressive.

Disappointing to lose that but on the bright side we are streets away from the turgid football we produced last season. We're setup to be so much more positive and it's moles better to watch. Still lacking a goalscorer though. Would have thought that Doran has done enough for a start next week.

1-0 down is probably fair. I thought we had a great first 15 but after that we were second best. I'm sure it would have been different if Doumbouya had buried that sitter. The balance of the midfield was a major problem for us for chunks of that half. Polworth is playing too narrow which means Mckay and Wallace are constantly getting 2 on 1 against Raven. I have no idea where Vigurs is supposed to be playing and the issue us that it doesn't look like he does either. Most if the time im not too critical on individuals but Vigurs effort has been atrocious. I've list count of the number of times he's put in a powder puff tackle and then just ambled back. It's embarrassing watching Tansey and Polworth sprint past him busting a gut to get back. I don't think Doumbouya is having a good game. He needs to hold the ball up better and bring others into play and get us up the park. Wouldn't be averse to seeing Mulraney/Doran and Fisher for Doumbouya & Vigurs if things don't improve. The are rank at the back and there are goals in this for us.

Very unlucky to be 2-1 down. We've played quite well and contained them reasonably comfortably. Penalty decision was an absolute joke, there's no justification for getting that wrong. The worst thing was that it was the 2nd one after Gamboa took out King. I would hook Vigurs for Doran at half time. Vigurs is on a booking and he's also lunged into a couple of other challenges as he's too lazy to chase back. With this referee we just cant risk it.

We've done OK but it just feels that we desperately need more pace in the side.

Awful, awful, awful. We're going to get cut adrift very very quickly at this rate. Doesn't help when our new manager doesn't get the necessary support to build a team BUT indications are that this may not end well - very much hope I'm wrong though. That was a Hearts team that was under pressure and there for the taking but didn't need to get out of 2nd gear to hammer us. That was our 1st choice back 4 and worryingly it was the poorest defensive performance so far.

Fisher's made a difference but we're still pretty hopeless.

Just awful. Could have lost by 5 v county and probably will lose by 5 today. St j, Aberdeen and Celtic in next 3 games. This season is getting ugly very quickly.

Noticed a few comments on the poor crowd. Simply put, it's down to pricing. £25-£30 depending on where you sit is an absolute disgrace for any match. I completely understand why this would put people off. This is not a strategy to grow our fan Base.

Might keep this to 5 if we're lucky....

Ooft, that's a shocker. Second game in a row that no clear cut chances have been created. Whi's the real ICT? The team from the league cup group stage or the last 2 matches? Has anything really changed?

Draper for Mulraney at half time. Not sure I agree with that one. Mulraney sounds like he's been poor but I don't like having all 4 of Tansey, Draper, Vigurs and Polworth on the pitch at the same time. They're all too similar and 3 from 4 generally gives us the best balance. Particularly when we have a striker who plays with his back to goal as we cant go in behind.

Well this is unexpectedly terrible. Massive improvement needed in last 25 here.
