  1. Seriously, will someone tell Kink he's playing up front. He's wondering around the centre of the park on top of the midfield. He needs to be 15yards further forward to give us any chance of getting out. On a more positive note Nick Ross and Danny Williams are still managing to show their class and composure when they get the ball.
  2. And that's why we haven't seen Horner all season. Feel a little sorry for the 2-3 boys playing for a cup final place. Very difficult to excel on a day like this.
  3. Talking of Killie, they've just unveiled their new (Errea) home kit for next season which is a belter. A blue and red version would be stunning. Would be nice if our new away kit was released before late July for a change. We're a bigger deal than Killie at the minute do I don't see why Errea can't pull the finger out.
  4. Falkirk have just put on twitter that they have sold out their North and South stand allocations. By my reckoning that's around 12,000 tickets. Would be nice to know where we are with sales.
  5. Reverse psychology always works....
  6. Boom.. nice one Eddie!!
  7. Hmm.. just back in the house and flicked on to see the score, not a great start. Looks like a very negative line-up for a home game, not a lot of creativity in there. Very surprised/disappointed that at least one of Doran, Christie, or Ross isn't starting.
  8. Just to add, a number of his ex players have also expressed their delight and affection for him tonight which tells a story in itself.
  9. Nom Nom Nom, humble pie has never tasted so delicious. I was one of the sceptics after his appointment but I've been won over and some. Yogi is a top man, one of the real good guys of football and I'm delighted for him. Richly deserved and a tremendous honour for both Yogi and the club. By all accounts his acceptance speech brought the house down. Hayley McQueen just tweeted it was the best she's ever heard.
  10. Bump! In other news. Well done Ryan on been named on shortlist for SPFL Young Player of the Year. The full list is: -Ryan Christie (ICT) -Jason Denayer (Celtic) -Jamie Walker (Hearts) -Sam Nicholson (Hearts) No reason he can't win this.
  11. Good statement from the club. Absolutely the correct thing to do.
  12. Ridiculous. In fact its completely farcical that this has even come to this. I'm assuming the club/Josh will fight this, there's no way of knowing it was deliberate from any replay or photograph so it surely can't stick.
  13. Let's do this!
  14. Excellent. I'll sort you out on Sunday.
  15. I'll be there. Its costing a fortune in flights and hotels but I couldn't care less. It might be the fact that I don't get to many games due to location but I've got that buzz for this one.
  16. C'mon, be an optimist. It can't just be me who has that tingly feeling that this could be our year. ..
  17. Would have preferred Falkirk or Hibs but to be honest it's just great to be in the semi draw for the first time in 11 years.
  18. Yasssss! Big Eddie nails it.
  19. Sounds like we've sat on our lead since half-time. Not ruthless enough in first half, only being 1 down seems to have given them a lift.
  20. Just seen on my twitter feed that Meetings has signed a new 2 year deal. Brilliant news.
  21. Meekings unhappy that no contract has yet been agreed. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/inverness-stopper-josh-meekings-left-5100475
  22. Seemingly there was a big fall-out behind the scenes. Apparently, MAC wasn't happy with Martin Canning being installed as the manager and instead favoured a different candidate.......himself! Sounds like an a-hole. Would rather no-one than someone who has the potential to disrupt our tight knit squad. I seem to recall he had a falling out at Dundee too.
  23. Underwhelming and disappointing but not hugely surprising. We have a fantastic Chairman & Manager but the failure to bring anyone in this transfer window is very poor, we are so short up front. The Chairman made a statement that we have a contingency but this was clearly not quite correct. As soon as it looked like Billy was away we should have been on to other clubs agreeing fees/loan terms/wages so that when Billy went most of the replacement deal was in place. Dundee United have been weakened but not considerably, they've brought in Anier (international), Dixon (Scotland International) and Robbie Muirhead who turned down Celtic yesterday and is one the better prospects in the SPL. I appreciate that there are budgetary constraints but we received a decent 6 figure sum for Billy as well as freeing up the wages of one of our highest paid players.
  24. Dundee United have sold Armstrong to Celtic yet have Scott Allen lined up as replacement already. That's how it should be done!!
