Why are we not seating them in Section A of the north stand?

Can he stay fit for more than a game and a half?
  6. Agree. Appreciate that the club are looking at saving money by not opening the away stand but the approach of sitting away fans in among home fans (without some basic segregation) is not acceptable
  7. The Livi fans were not in the uncovered section of the stand. They were sat in Lower F (albeit the roof does not provide much coverage to this). Their seating was mixed in with Home fans which worked great(?) until they started gesturing when the scored and thereafter a few insults were thrown. I'm sure the couple of stewards in the area would have stopped trouble if it had kicked off (maybe...)
  8. To attain Elite Level the costs are significant as is the wider infrastructure needs. Even at progressive level there will be significant investment and, for example, there needs to be a full time coach for each age group (Warren and Tremarco are to be appointed I understand as part of the coaching team). The club are investigating ways to provide a number of the requirements through partnerships with High Life Highland for example. There is a perception at least that the focus is not on having Elite level in the Highlands in any event.
  9. From what I understand he is refusing to agree severance terms
  10. Don’t disagree that Baird is lacking but don’t see Oakley as the answer. We need to bring someone in but unless Susan can be shipped this may be problematic.
  11. For as long as we don’t have anyone else better.
  12. Was booked in 1st half for taking issue with being kicked off the ball
  13. Yes, the right to freedom of expression is a wonderful thing for us to have...
  14. Just a pity that Seedorf and Elbouzedi couldn’t be bothered standing up for the minutes silence
  15. As he said in the aftermath of the Cup victory and in the middle of injuries "the club have tried to put away money for a rainy day but that day has come and they need to spend". As factual as it may be it clearly shows his intent for the club to spend
  16. There is a significant amount going on behind the scenes with areas such as the UHI’s plans and linking into the IDYFA network. This is being led by Danny and started before his appointment as COO and is looking to progress within the challenges of Project Brave. One of the main sponsors has also offered logistical assistance in getting local teams involved in match days and means to progress this are also happening.
  17. It's part of the conspiracy by the backward Teucter clique
  18. Scored one, made one and protected Raven well all game counts as a shocker? One of our better players along with defense and Bell. The rest (OFW apart).........
  19. The performance was what it needs to be at this point and not what we want it to be. After being easy to score against since the last year we need to become harder to break down. All three centre midfielders were deployed more conservatively than in previous games and in general we looked more solid. From this basic we will need to progress however it is worrying if we have to depend on Oakley and Baird. I don't think we have had a weaker front line in any previous season.

Rumour is that Robertson is refusing to take on board advice from both Chipper and other coaches
  21. The centre of our midfield is not our problem. 1. We have nothing up front. Baird is as poor a striker as we have ever had. Oakley is not close to being at this level at the moment, needs to lose weight to improve mobility and work on touch and movement. The lack of anything up front is stifling the midfield 2. Rule 1 of avoiding relegation - don't lose goals! The same defensive shape issues from last season still exist. We watch the ball and don't match runs. If the only thing we do for the next three games is sort out defense and draw 0-0 then this will put in place what we should have sorted this time last season Connor Bell did fine considering his age, etc today. Apparently Cooper was playing for us. Missed that (did anyone actually see him on the pitch). Our bench gives nothing option wise. Hopefully we will get more players back from injury soon

Frankly I'm a bit baffled at the ongoing abuse and rantings after one bad game. The reviews against Dundee Utd suggested that we competed well and were unlucky from my recollection. We have a team which has not played together (only regular two players from last season started the game) and is hampered by some of the most experienced players being injured (e.g. Warren and Tremarco). A number of the new players need to prove themselves as being up to the standard however I'm sure their confidence will grow when they are read the forum (as most do) and see that they are being told they are rank and to 'feck off' as one poster seems to use as a tag line to every post. In fact we seem to have grown a few newbies who have even registered just to show their unconstructive 'support'. The reality is that the state of the club has meant that rebuilding will take more than one transfer window. We don't have funds to buy and therefore have to take risks on players who are raw or possibly need a fresh chance. This may find a few gems but will also find a few who will not make the grade. It will take a number of games to make an initial assessment of where we are but I am under no illusions of being able to compete at the top of the league. Happy clapping is not being asked for however a degree of common sense around the team needs to be applied with hopefully some of the injured players returning soon to provide some leadership. Wringing our hands at every opportunity and personal abuse of players and management (both playing side and non-playing side) is unlikely to improve anything.
