  1. To clarify, ICT development have contacted all Primary Schools this year, have offered coaching for kids, support for school coaches and even chance for games each Thursday evening. They can always do more but this year Danny and his team have been much more overt. Reality is that SFA and County also are active and dilute what is and can be done. Important thing at primary school age is that the kids are being coached and developed. The fact that they are coached by one or both has limited affect on who they then follow
  2. DId Hughes see Miles Storey before Kenny brought him up?
  3. Transport Scotland are the Roads Authority with BEAR the Operator.
  4. Have you looked into using a Bonded ADSL option?
  5. We are missing the point. There are a significant number of people who are saying that they are not going to renew. A further number are uncertain. Currently there is nothing happening which gives any positive reasons for changing their mind and saying that they are not true supporters, irrespective of the intentions of the statement, will not make a difference. Only tangible reasons to expect improvements in the product being offered will change this situation. These people will not stop being supporters but will put less money into the club by limiting the number of games they attend and this impacts both finances but also the atmosphere at games.
  6. Another game when you leave the stadium thinking why bother. This has been the case for the majority of the home games and there is nothing to suggest that next season will be any different. It was bad enough when Yogi was clearly sulking following him being not allowed to speak to the Arabs. There are times now when it seems that we are simply an experiment in being stubborn. The worrying thing is that many are going to stay away next season and not renew tickets. I know of about 10 people in this camp all of whom have had tickets since day one. I must admit to being minded not to renew with my 9 year old (who is ICT and football mad) not wanting to continue to go till there is more enjoyment in going to games.
  7. 3 potential yellow cards 1. Deliberate handball 2. Leaving the field without permission 3. Unsportsmanlike conduct for re-entering field and sitting down
  8. Williams sold the first then compounded the break for the second by getting caught in no man's land out of his box for the second. The most telling thing, yet again, is our inability to trouble the opposition keeper. We are definitely suffering for overcomplicated tactics. What is wrong with playing our only real striker as a striker? We have lost quality in Christie and clearly from the players brought in and comments made by Hughes we have no real clue as to how to replace the players we are losing. Falkirk fans always say that playing people out of position and poor recruitment was Hughes biggest weaknesses.
  9. Defensively we were OK considering makeshift nature. Drapes sold us by loosing the ball (he was really poor today) but most baffling thing was leaving Hughes on. Offered nothing and only got in the way. We removed pretty much the only two players who had been making forward runs! Key stat is in spite of a number of shots none were on target. If you don't hit the target you don't score strangely.
  10. someone wake me up when this is finished
  11. The other option (if fit) is for Foran to play centre half as he has done a few times
  12. Speaks volumes when we are being outgunned by Dundee
  13. The Football Academy is in effect a partnership between ICT, RCFC and the Highland Council. Are you referring to the Dingwall or Charleston facilities. Certainly the Charleston academy is used a significant amount by the Development team as well as others such as Clach Development sides. Not sure how much we use the indoor facilities however these are available to ICT as much as to RC.
  14. We play Stirling on the 9th Jan
  15. Have we hit a time warp back to the days of Pele?
  16. At no time in the second half did it appear our management team wanted to win the game. SJ compressed the space and we played forward and back in front of them. No urgency to move the ball quickly though with balffling subs and a formation which had our most creative players in areas where they could do little damage what could be expected. Maybe Hughes has checked out of Inverness in spirit if not yet in person?
  17. If Yogi wants to leave he will be allowed to. What logic is there in keeping a Manager who wants to be elsewhere. Don't see how the board can be blamed for losing credibility. Perhaps if more of the 14,000 who were at the final turned up at home games we would have a better chance at keeping Managers longer.
  18. He jumped into the tackle showing excessive force and with both feet off the ground was not in a position to control himself. Text book red card and correct decision by ref.
  19. Even with an average legal firm preparing a contract there is little a player can do to break an Unconditional Unilateral Option for extension

Clearly focused on retaining ball and working opposition out of position. Score does not mean much but I don't see Hooper as offering as much goal threat as Ofere though has much better touch and awareness. Lopez lacks pace to play at this level though clearly has some technical ability. St Midden looked a league below

Highland News - "Hughes confirmed that Latapy is ready to take a job elsewhere and said, while Rice was only visiting to “cast an eye over things”, he may talk to him about taking on the role should Latapy indeed move on."
  22. To everyone involved in the card display a big thanks and well done. Having now seen it on TV (as opposed from behind a card) it looked stunning and made Falkirk's look like an amateur afterthought!
  23. You get an uninterrupted view from all seats in Hampden (no pillars or obstacles) but being behind the goal in the East Stand, especially lower down, it is difficult to see how close to the goal line the action is when it's at the far end (like any other stadium). I definitely wouldn't be put off by that - the atmosphere in the East Stand will be much better! There are seats in both east and west which have views restricted by the area provided for wheelchairs at the top/back of the stands (south end)
  24. It's a bit worrying that, if you exclude Tansey who was a known entity, none of the signings made by Hughes appear to have become first team regulars.
  25. I remember when Caledonian were drawn away to St Mirren in the Scottish Cup (lost 3-0) and considered it such a big game. I couldn't 'get my head round' the likes of Wilson Robertson sharing a pitch with Campbell Money! That concept must seem alien to younger fans! But, It's what makes the whole ICT journey so rewarding! Oh god, I used the cliché, 'journey'! The game was played from recollection on a frozen pitch with the player using 'pimpled' sole trainers. Can you imagine that today? Wilson Robertson had a one on one at 0-0 but, just for a change!, missed
