Yeah...he isnt walking away. Just explaining his stance

Is Burley going to walk away?
Ah...but thats the mystery to me Alex....why he doesnt get a regular start for Rangers. He is their best striker by a country mile...and reguarly proves it, yet he toils to get a game. I dont understand it. Maybe he has an underlying heart condition or something

Is Burley going to walk away?
I see George Burley has called a press conference for today. I get the feeling he cant handle pressure at all and wonder if he might walk away. Apparently Kris Boyd has sed he no longer wants to be considered for selection while Burley remains in charge. I dont know what Boyd has to do to get a game for rangers and Scotland

Scotland V Norway Match Day Thread
I never saw the game...was that the craic? have to say....stating the obvious but, 2 VERY valuable points dropped at home.....am not fancying our chances for second place at this rate. We seem to have taken a footballing step backward under Burley.

I voted for much as i thought (points wise) except....ad have expected us to beat Hamilton And St Midden but got beat by Aberdire and Maybe a point at Falkirk at best. So...its shaping up as i would have thought.- January Transfer Window.
Am concvinced, in addition to A good Centre Half and Defensive Midfielder, ad also like to see an experienced Striker come in.- Darren Fletcher
i didnt realise that 100 Scottish caps was seen as some seal of quality. Silly me!- January Transfer Window.
1 Centre Half....2 might be too hopeful. Cant see why we would need 4 strikers at the club. Maybe a defensive midfielder- Part Time ICT Fans.
Get your hands on a copy of Rodwill Clynes book In A Different League and you will read it all in there. I was amazed by some of the crowds that used to attend HL games. Incidently, you can buy the book on amazon...................for only ?75!- Part Time ICT Fans.
Seriously tho....Caley used to get bigger crowds than ICT back in the 50s-60s, when the population was probably 1/4 of what it is now. So I dont see why it would be unreasonable to expect 6-7000 at home games for ICT- Part Time ICT Fans.
SEXIST!! Politically incorrect and devisive. Warning for roscoe- How long before the EPL bubble bursts?
Just going over some figures regarding the English Premiership. Man U are near ?800M in debt Chelsea are near ?700M Liverpool ?400M Arsenal ?380M Fulham near ?200M Wages last season were near ?1.5Bn, thats near double of the next highest League (Spain) How long can this continue. There has to be an argument for a wage cap surely? Lets be honest, Even ?10 000 per week for a top player is MORE than enuff for any person to live off. Discuss- Darren Fletcher
KB...dont confuse holding an opinion on something as pertaining to be an expert on the subject. But since you ask....Scotland, we are kinda stuck wi him, as we dont have much better. Last season in ALL comps, Thats EPL, League Cup, FA Cup and Champs League.....I think he played around 20 games...so hes not deemed a priority player for Man U. Utd preferred midfield is Ronaldo, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs. Fletcher gets a game when there is injuries. Ahead of Fletcher, ad play, Anderson, Nani, Hargreaves or possibly Park- Darren Fletcher
Fletcher is so "world class", that last season he came mighty close to joining.....AC.........no wait.....Barca....sorry Birmingham City!- Darren Fletcher
Cor blimey.....deemed world class after half a dozen or so games. Theres hope for McAllister then. Mind you....not that long ago...he was deemed surplus to requirements by the same support. As greavsie used to say "its a funny old game"- Darren Fletcher
Am with you on that. back to the old days wen internationals were midweek and the domestic fixtures were unaffected- Markus
I am of the school of thought that he shouldnt have been given the extension, given his history. its madness for a club with limited resources like us, its sheer lunacy. ICT board need to grow a pair of balls to enable them to make such ruthless decisions. We arent a charity!- Darren Fletcher
I can fully accept there are people who rate him....Alex Fergusson for one, but I just cant get my head round what it is he has got- Darren Fletcher
^Thats the part i dont understand. He is by far and away the weakest link at Man Utd IMHO! I can understand him getting a game for Scotland tho- Darren Fletcher
I must be missing something then- Darren Fletcher
I see Darren Fletcher has been named as captain of Scotland for Saturdays game. Now.........can anyone enlighten me as to how this guy gets to captain Scotland let alone play for Man Utd. I really cant understand it.My mate and i have disussed this, and I cant see any attributes he brings to a team. He seems to ghost thro games. I could understand him playing for maybe Fulham or that tho, as he is a very average player. Anyone.....Anyone?- Markus
Not really an unexpected move. We all knew it was coming. Good luck to him whereever he ends up- Team for Celtic

I agree, but would rather get the mistakes out of the system now so he can develop and hopefully flourish. By all accounts, apart from the few mistakes he has made costing goals (yes, I know!), he has adapted well. - The Season So Far
