Actually....i would gone even further than to single out the midfield. I think this is the most unremarkable team we have EVER had. Think about it, in the past, we have always had good defenders (Dods, Mann, Macarthur, Teasdale, Golly etc), good midfielers (Sheerin, Robson, Wilson, Cherry, Cowie etc) and Good forwards (Stewart, MaClean, Wyness, Dargo, Ritchie). We dont have any players of that Calibre now. We have a very ordinary and unremarkable starting 11!

Do you not think that these people you highlight would far rather be in the position where they can cheer the team on? i do. These people pay good money to be entertained and are entitled to airre their views as much as anyone if they feel short changed! thats the nature of the beast

I have often thought about whether or not we have been spoilt as fans in our short but progressive history. And i think the bottom line is.... maybe we have....and we are now experiencing the realites of the game as we settle down and are finding our level. I think the main problem is the nature of the gutless, negative performances the fans are being subjected to. I can handle defeat, IF, there is a bit of fight from the team, and that seems to be lacking.

Well jay......thing is.....they are talking crap. Coz i dug out my Netgear Router, fired it up and the results were the same. I ran a test at BT speedtester site. Av got near 7 meg coming into the house....but my IP profile is not matching anywhere near that speed! So...the call has been logged etc (yet again). I told the dude to make sure the engineers are aware this is a recurring issue and that am getting sick of it. I ran a test the other day...got 5meg.....now this! Thing is......even if i left BT, whats the chances the same would happen again with another provider and i wouldnt get any further ahead?

butcher wasnt my first choice as manager. But...i decided to give him his chance. I have not seen one thing that gives me hope. he seems tactically inept....cant motivate the squad, got them playing crap football and am far from convinced by most of his signings. Intrestingly, I saw a couple of reports with him during the week on tv...and his head was lowered and not looking at the camera. Am sure there is a sign in there somewhere. Am now of the opinion that he has had his chance. We are going backward once again, as we did under the the *** that preceeded butcher.

BT have just phoned me and said there is an issue with my home hub, so they are going to replace it. Am pretty sure that isnt the problem. I already have a brand new spare hub and phone, so am going to swap it over now and see what the deal is. Am not expecting much.

Well...yet again...am just off the phone to BT regarding low internet speeds (1.2Meg). This is becoming a fortnightly event for me and am getting sick of it! There has to be a problem at the exchange. The other day, i ran a speedtest, it was 5Meg.....now....its just over 1meg. But....still have to go through the same sh1t everytime. Surley BT should just recognise there is obviously an issue whcih needs addressed rather than their tempory fixes! :020: what a sh1t week am having with all things technical. First my laptop problems, then my CD player, then portable hardrive and now this.

I have a pile of kids movies for my kids on my Western Digital 500GB hard drive. the hard drive works fine on my laptop. It worked fine the last time the kids wanted to watch a movie on my desktop. But today....it wont play ball at all. It fires up, but isnt being detected in My Computer....UNTIL....i pull the USB cable out, when its icon momentarily shows up in my computer. Also....it seems to freeze the system when its plugged in. Anyone got a clue? its not been my week for all things in personal computing!

Now dont quote me on this...but....am sure my bros mate, back in the 80s, had a 3.1 RS Capri (am sure it was) It was a cool car and the envy of many a young loon in the town. It was Bodie and Doyle that really made the Capri cool if you ask me (and the RS2000 too)

I have to say, i had always found the site to be very relaible...until the last week or so. Dont worry tho Scotty and Don....I "upgraded" my Acer to Vista, worst move of all time...so i know all about frustration! Your not alone. :thumb04: (ps, after putting about 20 hrs of my life into the upgrade and all that goes with it, i called it quits and did a factory restore to XP)
