  1. Cogratulations to CC and all the team behind him. Well deserved, lets hope for another month just as good during November.
  2. I predict a power cut right across Aberdeen on Monday/ Tuesday, which will prevent them from going on air to mention the "local derby", and stop the P& J from printing anything on Tuesday when it doesn't go their way. :001: :001:
  3. Indecent haste me thinks. However the grocer must have been considering who his new whipping boy would be for weeks. Looking forward to December when we can help add some nails to the new coffin at Tannadump.
  4. Read in the P&J (I think) during the week that the connection with Mr Macdonald is a business one and would probably only extend to a pre season tarining camp in Texas. He is a wealthy man by normal standards but is his companies chief executive not owner. As such his millions probably don't extend into the hundreds. Just one million would do me. :023: :001:
  5. The turban wearers are not all that happy. They do admit that bringing in 4 players plus himself does not constitute building our team. But like many others still seem to think that Pele's team was built by JR. The thread was good for a laugh and quite interesting.
  6. Patience is a virtue - which obviously is not for sale in a certain chain of food stores. :015: :015:
  7. Very simple Kieran. Because they were a huge drain on the wage bill.
  8. crownjaggie replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
Does that not presume on Le gunner getting it right and Rangers finishing above us. I think we could well be in the dog fight for third or fourth, but all is not well at Tyncastle or Ibrox.
  9. Agree it has to be Pele. All the rest didn't stay long enough. CC may well prove to be the boards best selection in years to come.
  10. What a boy Dargo 1-0 yehaaa
  11. I recall the statement from the board when Brewster left and Robertson intimated his interest in returning. Graeme Bennet's words were something like "he is part of our hall of fame and that is where he will remain" Which will undoubtedly apply to the Brew as well.
  12. No doubt the financiers within the club are discussing this as I post it, but being a Monday night there will probably be a worse crowd than normal. Should we adopt a supermarket B.O.G.O.F. and invite everyone prepared to attend the match to bring a friend for free. (Probably too difficult for the folk at the turnstiles). Alternatively slash admission prices by half to put bums on seats at the ground rather than in the pub
  13. Volume in the north stand rose considerably and changed tone the instant the team realised the game was there for the taking. Agree with Donmac totally. Entertainment is the name of the game :clapping04:
  14. Would like to see a bit of poetic justice dispensed by the grocer the evening of our next game at Tannadump, when the brew gets his books. If he lasts that long.
  15. lets get into europe this year and prove it.
  16. He was as good as an extra player for us. Only shame was it took over an hour for him to work out which side he was on :clapping04:
