  1. Like everyone else, I'm pretty gutted in the manner we lost - losing on penalties isn't the best. But I'm immensely proud that we got to our first major cup final - getting through ET against Dundee Utd then the semi against Hearts was incredible. We were so close yesterday! I thought in the first half, Aberdeen were by far the better team. We gave them too much time on the ball and they looked very comfortable in posession with Flood and Robson running their midfield. In the second half, there was more urgency, we gave them less space and were passing much better. However, Aberdeen did always look dangerous. I thought we defended very well though and despite a few close calls, limiting Aberdeen's chances. Apart from the 20 minute period in the second half I thought we were not great. It seemed like we were playing the long ball up to McKay who was trying his best to pick up the scraps. Lots of effort but we needed a bit of quality. Watkin's effort in the second half was unfortunately quite comedy. I don't remember a real clear cut chance we created - will need to see the highlights. I thought the referee had an average game. Another referee could have easily sent Foran off with his committed tackles but he did the sensible thing in keeping him on the field. There were two incidents I thought were incorrect - Aberdeen's freekick just outside the box in the first half where we actually got the ball and Shinnie's yellow card. Overall, it's disappointing to lose on penalties, but so proud to get to the final. They have lots to be proud of - onwards and upwards!
  2. Just looking at the actual article itself, I'm with Ross Tokely on this one. A club he has been with pretty much his whole career and a legend with the fans, you would think he would be welcomed back. I didn't realise that he was booed at the game as I wasn't at the game, but this is very disappointing. I know he's playing for the county but even so, we should be respect him for his fantastic 16 years at Caley rather than booing him. The hundreds of games he has played in a Caley shirt for the cause. If Iain Stewart were up front and Jim Calder was in goals for Ross County would you be booing them?? I don't think so.
  3. +1 Totally agree with this. Everyone should be involved in creating the atmosphere not just a small group of fans.
  4. I've never taken the car to Celtic Park as I usually get the train there. However, I have parked at the WEST Brewery a few times on Glasgow Green. It's a good 20-25 minutes walk but never any problems there.
  5. BBC have anounnounced they're showing the county cup match on 1 December if people can't make it to the game!
  6. Aberdeen have beaten Kilmarnock 3-1 away, drew Dundee Utd 1-1 away and beat Dundee 2-0 home in October. We have beaten Ross County 3-1 home, 4-1 Dundee away and 1-1 St Johnstone. They've probably based it on Aberdeen's away fixtures. Terry should have won it really.
  7. I'll be there! Confident about the team. Hopefully we can make it a nightmare for them on Haloween!
  8. I remember when we were in the Third Division when we moved from Telford Street, we were pulling huge crowds - consistently around the 3,000 mark. It is obviously more expensive now than it was 15 or so years ago but I would we expecting a much greater attendance. What is everyone doing in Inverness at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon? I must admit, I am not going to many home games these days as I'm down in Glasgow but I woud have thought the next generation would be stepping up and supporting the club.
  9. According to the BBC News, there were over 6,000 at the game yesterday. I wasn't there but I'm guessing this must be tosh! Can anyone confirm?
  10. I see there were only 5 travelling fans at last night's game! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17683896
  11. Can you name your best Caley XI both current and past players?
  12. Superb! Well done ICT! Party on Saturday!
  13. It's been an amazing season! I'll send my congrats after Saturday's game! I didn't think we could top the table at one point when I think when we were sitting in the bottom half of the table at the end of 2009. But you proved me and many others wrong! It makes me proud to be an ICT supporter. Let's finish the season in style. Wouldn't it be amazing to officially win the league in Ayr and lift the cup in front of our own supporters and Dundee supporters after going the rest of the season unbeaten?
  14. I'm going plus hopefully six others!
  15. I hate county. That's all I have to say about that!
