Livi banned from signing players?

Today's stewarding.
I agree it seems a lot of the people in the signing section seemed to think that it was an "anything goes" section where they would be left to do whatever they pleased. The supporters trust officials did try on several occasions to tell people to sit down but as you can probably tell this was ignored. Indeed. Some (almost all infact) of the people on here seem to think it is only possible to sign whilst on your feet. It is also quite hilarious that the fans seem to think that Mike Smith is the one to blame here. Mike Smith didn't make the rules, he allowed the fans who wanted to sign to sit together. Now I don't claim to know the exact law/rules involved here but I'm sure somewhere (probably at least on the safety certificate) it will say that you cant stand in the seated areas. The fans anger directed at Mike Smith is misplaced and should, it would appear, be directed at the people who implemented the all seater rules for the SPL. With the exception of the alleged threats from stewards I don't agree. I was standing to start with, the section as a whole were told to sit down, some (most perhaps) didn't sit down and were thrown out, seems fair to me. I sat down the first time the section as a whole was told to do so and was never bothered again. It happens at most stadiums the fans (mostly kids) stand up, are told to sit down, don't sit down (or do sit down but then stand up as soon as the steward leaves) and act all shocked when they get thrown out. What it boils down to is either ignorance of the rules/law, stupidity, or some sort of desire to cause trouble. The "but they're doing it too" argument is rather childish is it not. I can see why people are annoyed when it appears that the away stand can stand up all game but I imagine it is easier to tell a small section to sit down that a whole stand. The rules are that in the SPL you are not allowed to have standing sections. There are also rules somewhere stating that you can't stand in designated seating areas. Therefore if you stand up for a prolonged period of time at a game don't be surprised if you get asked to sit down or thrown out. The stewards were right to throw out the people that refused to sit down. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Mike Smith ignores the complaints about standing as the rules/laws have nothing to do with him. For clarification I don't agree with the SPL rules that don't allow standing sections to be used. I do agree that you should sit in seated areas *awaits abuse*

So why can't we just call them "CALEY"
I was tickled by the irony of that too. I've said it before, I don't know if I said it on here however, that the name should be changed to the Tulloch Tigers

Relegation Party 28/04/07!!
Well OK it's not a friendly but then neither was the game on Saturday but it was played like a friendly and ***** to watch. I am turned on more (footballing wise, honest) by the prospect of a game between a team hoping to win the league and a team hoping to avoid relegation than 2 teams battling it out for 7th place. I go to watch Ross County because I am a fan of football as well as a fan of ICT (a cheapskate too of course). Indeed i'd go as far to say that if ICT are away when county are at home in the play-offs (hypothetically of course) i'd again head to Dingwall.

Relegation Party 28/04/07!!
Hmm this is a tough call pay £21 ticket + £10 bus to go and see what is essentially a friendly or pay £10 ticket plus about £5 in petrol to see 2 teams who are playing in a season defining game?

Dods v Caff
I think giving Dods one last game as a send off would be a good compromise. Assuming he won't be suspended for all of them.

Silence is golden??
I'd like to suggest this: 1. Get harry chibber and clacher holiday 2 a ruler each and settle it like men. 2. Merge all the threads about CC into one "Clacher and Chibber present the great Charlie Christie debate sponsored by the International Insomniacs Accosiation" (or something shorter maybe) thread for use after every game instead of there being a "Silence is golden/It's all charlie's fault/vote of confidence/I told you christie was a rubbish appointment" thread every week. 3. I did have a third point but I spent so long thinking up a title for the thread above i've forgotten what it was. p.s. clacher you know fine well that it's Jason Orange that is the worst performer/signer in take that :016:

Lack of appreciation
Is it just me or are most of the people who are standing up for CC the "wasn't at the game but..." fans who don't have to sit through the shit that gets served up as football on a Saturday. With the exception of the games against the old firm I can't remember the last time I watched a decent game of football involving ICT (well thats a lie the 3-4 killie game was pretty good.) I don't know if its a sign of the times for Scottish football but quite frankly the standard of football is getting so bad that I could spend a fiver to rent some completely diabolical film (say Spiceworld) and I would be more entertained and have more money in my pocket. So CC if you don't want the fans to criticise the players or whoever give us something to shout about rather than having us watch Rory McAllister being absolutely VVank for an hour.

Proctor oot the door
FIFA block Proctor move What a gaye rule

Rory
He does seem to struggle with holding the ball up and waiting for support, but give him the ball at his feet and let him run at the defence and watch them get torn a new bum.
-
Barry Robson...
Why does he not play on the left wing? I think he is wasted in the centre
-
New keeper - who do we go for?
What's Derek Soutar up to these days?
-
David Beckham
An annual salary of $10m His existing sponsorship contracts with his four sponsors - Motorola, Pepsi, Gillette and Volkswagen - are estimated to be worth $25m His merchandising shirt sales will bring in $10m His share of the club profits: $10m That adds up to $55m. Multiply it by five and you get $275m. From here

Marcus Paatelainen...
According to teletext he's signed a pre contract agreement

Is the south stand the stand where the away fans go? Yes it is I'd also like to point out that the last 2 games we haven't played with our holding midfielder (Russell Duncan) and have conceded 7 coincidence?
