  1. The bad news is that I have your ticket, and if they are going for £5,000 you've no chance of getting it. lol
  2. Must be fake, but if it's real I've got 28 Gretna tickets. :021: :021:
  3. Only if you want to be an Angel for the day. :015: I'll have a few with me for anyone who doesn't have one. See you on Saturday
  4. Well done to him. I must admit I could think of better ways of having fun, but I suppose 'whatever floats your boat' Well done Yompa. Hot on the heels of Team Gringo. Never doubted him for a minute. A true Nutter.
  5. I posted this on the Kirin Cup thread, but Ian Turner is only a reserve keeper so he isn't even playing 1st team football
  6. Smith has called up Manchester United's Darren Fletcher, who has made a quick recovery from a knee injury, and Everton reserve keeper Iain Turner. What does Broonie have to do. The Everton reserve keeper - if it wasn't a slap in the face being missed out the first time - then what must he think now. What is Walter Smith thinking about. The above if from then bbc site

    Pars Roll Call

Sorry not me. I haven't been to Dunfermline yet and this would have been a good time to go, but I have to work. :( :( :( Would have been good to welcome the marchers too.
  8. Is the Innes not for losers
  9. Where are team Gringo stopping tonight?
  10. He's doing well then. Fair play to him. Good luck for the rest of the trip. He can't be very far behind the others now then if they were leaving from Ballinluig this morning.
  11. Buses don't get me there on time for Alan
  12. Rangers Celtic Hearts and Hibs are apparently trying to reduce it back to 10 teams, but with the new voting system there only needs to be 2 votes to stop a change and that is happening for now. An increased league seems everybody's preferred option.
  13. Unfortunately he suffered a nasty injury to his knee at the last reserve game he played in. Could be out for a while. He looked quite good in the reserve games, but CC was obviously unsure when he took so long to decide whether or not to give him a contract. Dundee Utd maybe??
  14. Think he's keeping an eye on there.
  15. I don't mind the queues as long as they are well managed and the cheats stopped in their tracks. They only continue to cheat as they get off with it every time. We must have a system and Stewards who know what they are doing. They were standing discussing what to do next. Mmm what about this line? maybe we should give them a turn - no I think they should be next. Like a comedy sketch. If so many players cars got in without them noticing that's a worry. I can't see why the players would sneak in and park in a different place from normal, I suspect they must have been parked by stewards who didn't realise who they were. :?
  16. They do have an area allocated for parking, but not in front of the stadium as that is reserved for hospitality guests. They do park in the home car park (behind the north stand) but for some reason they were parked differently. A steward told me that the players sneaked in when they weren't looking, but you are talking about 7 or 8 cars. They were parked side by side so they were the first car in every line.
  17. At the forum last week David Sutherland said that he expected the split to be gone after next season. But does the league go back to 10 teams or does it extend to 16 - that is the question
  18. That is excellent. He told me a few weeks ago that he would have to be in Aviemore for breakfast, but obviously he has excelled himself. What a true nutter. Even thinking about a 24 hour walk makes me feel tired. Good on you Yompa - pass on our best wishes next time you text.
  19. I agree he had an excellent game. I know that he works really hard in training and Mark Brown does some extra training with him some afternoons. I know that Michael Fraser's idol is our very own Jim Calder and he did show just a liitle hint of Calder when he jinked past a striker before clearing the ball. Excellent performance. The crowd were very supportive too, not only towards Fraser but to the other young players too. Nice to see
  20. Yes KB I agree it is refreshing to see another team challenging and splitting the OF. Just for us it would have been better if Rangers were 2nd. Mind you we can go all out to support Gretna in the final now. It would be excellent if they could win the cup. (we thought we needed Hearts to win, but that doesn't matter now) Come on Gretna.
  21. Wasn't a good result for us though as we needed Rangers to take 2nd spot so that we retained a chance of Intertoto.
  22. I stopped using the car park ages ago, but as I was early tonight and didn't expect a big crowd, I thought I'd chance it. Usual cars peeling off the back of the lines and being allowed to go round the back or join another moving queue. If everybody just waited their turn. The big problem tonight was that the players had all been allowed to park at the front of the lines!! So no line could move. On this occasion you had to come out of your line to get out and it was an even bigger shambles. It has always been bad, but where I was parked tonight I would usually have got out quite quickly, but it took ages. I was the 3rd car in the line, the two in front of me were unoccupied (one at least was a players car) and when I looked in my mirror there were no cars behind me. This isn't rocket science. If the cars were parked in the order they arrived and let out in the same order it would work as long as they stopped the cheating. RANT OVER
  23. There are 2 opportunitys for Scotland to get a 2nd place in the Intertoto, but nothing is certain. They just get together and decide who gets the places once all the teams who qualify have confirmed their participation. There is one space up for grabs now and there will be more up for grabs at the 2nd round (scotlands entry level) Clutching at straws is right though Scotty. I don't have the same problems with Gretna as I had with Livi. Firstly Brooks Mileson hasn't put that much money into the club. I think he picks up the wage bill for the year and has bought a couple of players. He is building a good business though for the club. And he can afford it. Livi spent much more and never paid most of it back. If Brooks walked away tomorrow Gretna wouldn't be in any debt. They wouldn't have any players technically speaking, but they wouldn't owe money. They have quite a large back room staff and they are all very friendly and give the impression that they are really fans of the club and that it's not just a job. He said on the radio tonight that Romanov invited him along to the Hearts Celtic game last week, but he said he couldn't make it as he wouldn't have managed to feed all his animals in time to make the journey. Priorities !!
  24. I have them so you can come and get one from me or I can try to drop one off to you if you PM me with your address or phone number. I had some with me tonight and sold a few.
  25. In fact they are on the front page too. Poor Charlie is a bit embarassed about all the fuss, but he has taken it in good spirit and appreciates that it's for a good cause.
